After what seemed to this survival horror fan like a long wait, Deep Silver's Cursed Mountain has finally come to retail shelves and is ready to up the creep factor of your time spent with the Wii. There's also a new launch trailer after the jump, which may or may not aid your decision in purchasing this title, but hey, you may as well go watch it. You're here already, right?

Destructoid's review of the game is coming soon, but while you wait you can refer back to my quick and dirty hands on time with the game at E3 or our interview with Deep Silver developer Martin Filipp. Are you thinking you might pick this one up, or are you holding off for your horror needs until Silent Hill: Shattered Memories comes out?

Wow, I had no idea this was even close to being finished. I have to wait for the review, I know nothing about this game.

Cool. I never had the chance to check this game out at E3, so I'm looking forward to playing it. Dust off the old Wii, once again.
While I was waiting to buy Batman: AA, I saw this on the shelves. I was surprised to see it had already been released, with very little fanfare.
Hmmm...
Looking forward to the review, Colette.

I'll also wait for the review, but this seems a lot cooler than Shattered Memories, at least in my eyes.

Can't wait for the review. I really don't know if I'll buy this game or not. Yet.

From that trailer, I get very little about what to expect from that game other than frostbite and bad accents.

I'll wait to see what you guys think about it, but I'm a survival horror junkie and I got a bad case of the DO WANTS and need another fix. I can only replay Resident Evil so many times.

I believe that's the first review for this on the net. The review is a bit on the short side. From how they describe combat, it sounds pretty lame.

No, he's right. The game has been for sale for over 2 weeks already. I wish I had realized it sooner, I was in a real survival/horror mood last weekend, and I managed to kill it by playing the boring Silent Hill 0. :(

*crosses fingers*

With such an original premise, I'm really hoping that it turns out to be really good. :D

That beast was just weird because it was dressed in tribal or something... but this looks cool. I probably won't buy it though.

Deep Silver states in their press release "NA release date: August 25, 2009". It has not been out for over two weeks. It's been out for 6 days.
