In case you didn't know, this week marks the 10th birthday of the Sega Dreamcast. In celebration of this joyous event, we'll be bringing you some original features dedicated to this once still amazing console, with a big fat retrospective tribute coming up on Wednesday, the actual 10-year anniversary date.
Jonathan Holmes kicks off the festivities later today with a look at one of his favorite Dreamcast games, and you know I've got some stuff in the oven. Keep an eye out for it all week, and by all means, rock out in the community blogs with your own contributions to the fapfest, and you might see them promoted to the front page to keep the love flowing strong.

And sorry, no Skies of Arcadia write-up from me. I never had the guts to beat the whole game, though I know it's a classic.
In many ways, we have the DC to thank for a lot of things that gamers take for granted these days.

Okay so there's one for Xbox but it didn't have the awesome motion thingy and I mean seriously c'mon! Nobody, NOBODY, mentions this game. Everybody supposedly knows about it but it gets NO ATTENTION for some reason.

I remember when my dad ordered my Dreamcast back then directly from SEGA itself.
Had to leave it on for two days straight to beat Sonic Adventure because I didn't get a VMU untill the following weekend.
Oh yeah, and can't forget Space Channel 5!
Also, if anyone still has access to dial-up (I don't D:) we should get some games going, chuchu rocket, PSO, quake, and I know I'm missing one or two more games. Unless, of course, sega killed off everything related to dreamcast. Chatting on irc with the dreamcast controller and or keyboard?
