Also, screw Phantoms...
I like the multiplayer. Maybe there's something about it that appeals to people who don't otherwise normally enjoy multiplayer, because I've heard a lot of my fellows who usually scorn multiplayer say they really enjoy ME3. It's also great because pretty much everyone on my friends list has ME3 so its usually not hard to get a game going.
It's kinda funny that this weekend's Operation is a Gold/Cerberus objective as they are the easiest enemy. As far as Phantoms go, Stasis rapes 'dem bitches and all Lieutenants(Banshees, Phantoms, Hunters) and biotic explosions rape everything, especially the boses(Atlas, Brute, Prime).
My advice would be to not play AS or WITH a Krogan or any melee-oriented idiot(i.e., Vanguards) because that requires you getting into the thick of things and dying and then having to put teammates at risk from having to revive the idiot who went out there and died. "BIOTIC CHARGE, BIOTIC CHARGE, OH SHIT I DIED GUYZ"
@J619: It's not even in Microsoft's hands, bro, umad that PS3 sucks? ;D
Also, @Eric: I don't know why people think Geth are the easiest, they both have HUNTERS and PYRO's to worry about, whereas Cerberus' biggest worry is the Phantom, which can be easily taken down with a single stasis or two-to-three biotic explosions, or to a lesser extent, concentrated team fire.
Firebase Giant is the easiest because it offers the best 'bunker' area. Two players can stay at the top of the ramp while the other two cover the lower room's ladder and ramp(next to the ammo box). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF0OXIfQ0IA
Fraser Brown? Yeah, that guy is #WORSEthanAIDS.
On 4.12.12, in "Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Challenges not Approved by Sony," Chris Carter wrote, "I'm not super crazy about ME3's multiplayer mode, I think BioWare did a good job with it, and it's nice to see it consistently supported."
Now, today, Fraser writes, "I still see ME3's multiplayer as a horribly dull experience BioWare threw at me just so I could experience my optimal ending and fully enjoy an otherwise cracking game. It's not unforgivably bad, just completely and utterly uninspired and devoid of any interesting features or mechanics. Anyone still playing deserves some kind of reward."
Why do the Destructoid writers feel so compelled to tell ME3 multiplayer fans -- who read this news because they care -- that they're not all impressed with the game...? Some of you articulating it quite elaborately, at that. Why not just report the news and keep your pissy opinions to yourselves or put someone who gives a fuck on this material? Clearly, the people who like it and read this stuff are going to be annoyed, as pointed out several times already. You guys just look like a bunch of dicks.
I think its fair to state that it's not interesting or insightful editorial in these cases. It's like writers are begrudgingly having to tell us these "updates" which I'm sure are sent over by EA/Bioware and have to drop their negative opinions into the "news" in order to justify the update.
The news is clearly relevant to ME3 multiplayer fans, so I just asked the question why, in these circumstances, did they think it was a good idea to shit talk? It's not endearing anyone to them and doesn't spark any healthy debate. In fact, it gives everyone who cares a great reason to get this news from any of the dozens of other reputable sites who will report it.
On a news article? Yeah, keep your opinions out of it. If I wanted to read an editorial about it, I would.
@Jayson
Get banned.
I also agree with most of the commenters that anyone at Dtoid posting on the multiplayer here has come off like an ass.
Honestly though I'm not looking forward to this, Phantoms are complete bullshit.
"Some of you articulating it quite elaborately, at that. Why not just report the news and keep your pissy opinions to yourselves"
Because then this would be ign/gameinformer and those sites suck. If you don't like the opinion, you could try getting less butthurt over it too.
why dont you stop trolling us for views, take some intiative, and do some real writing.
Being a snide asshole isn't the only way to add personality to writing and differentiate a blog, but its comforting to know assholes are endeared to assholes.
I'm butthurt over ign and gi's editors for being boring.
As for tx, I'm merely pointing out his options for less butthurt, ie choking down a valid opinion.
Now if you'll excuse me I'll be going out to the real world and cry about so many opinions being voiced because I hate free speech and all that stuff.

thank you
@tx
"Being a snide asshole isn't the only way to add personality to writing"
maybe you should take your own advice on that one.
"but its comforting to know assholes are endeared to assholes"
as you are proving by commenting right now! =-D
"so fuck off."
no. but thanks for enforcing the stereotype that me3 fanboys are the worst fanboys to date.
the only "venom" in this post is the venom that fanboys want to see. people didn't like bulletstorms mp, but i did. instead of crying about it i discussed it. by discussing it, i totally saw how it's a clusterfuck of mediocre fps co-op action to some or a lot of people. instead of getting butthurt.
You can say "While others enjoyed it, a personally didn't." But there's no need to elaborate why you didn't like it in a news article. They should all just go right a review or editorial for it so we don't have to see it in every news post. And while they're at it, throw in the Ending crap too so that isn't needed either.
Sure, they can add flavor to the news, but shitting on a product isn't needed, and neither is blowing it.
I guess what I'm getting at is add flavor to the news, but remain neutral to it all. If you want to give your opinion, write an editorial based off it.
You want reasonable info without drudging through repeated, unnecessary opinionated crap!?!? You must be a butt-hurt ME fanboy of worst degree. How DARE you! Who do you think you are!?! This site is great because of the shit talk!!! Don't like it? Get out!
Also, arguing about the popularity of your opinion or IKYABWAI-ing not only doesn't prove your point, it actively undermines it. I find the lack of quality debate here more offensive than Destructoid writers being forced to cover topics that they apparently hate.
That said, TXYeti initially made a solid point; except that it assumes that the articles' aim is to inform rather than antagonize. By providing an opinion directly counter to the subject being discussed, I would argue that the latter is more likely, or at least of equal importance to the author. And clearly there are people drawn to the topic of Mass Effect 3 who only wish to argue its inferiority; or maybe simply to argue, period.
In that way, the article has fulfilled its three goals: Inform, catalyze, and grow page hits.
For a person who came here to be informed and found the tone distasteful, ask yourself: Are you any less informed? Is this the best place to simply get raw information? And is it really worth the time to be drawn into an argument with people who can't argue?
"You know, my mum would agree with a lot of you lovely folk. She always says "if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing." But then again, she's never had to write about ME3's multiplayer. She's never even played it. She's a lucky, lucky woman."
Yeah, just keep being a troll feeding trolls.
Don't like the game, don't talk about it, limey jackass.
"But then again, she's never had to write about ME3's multiplayer."
Then don't write about it. I'm sure Dale didn't hold a gun to your head and force you to write this...
Why does everything have to be spun into some sort of editorial now?
