It's all good fun until someone gets stabbed: LAN Party Massacre

This video has moved! Try our Destructoid HD Youtube channel If you've been reading my work on Destructoid for a while, you already know I love horror, whether it be in game, film or haunted house form. Aside from survival horror titles like Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, it doesn't seem like there are a lot of references in games to other types of horror, such as the beloved Evil Dead 2 variety. Can we get some satire up in here, people?

Enter Creatively Bankrupt Productions, the masterminds behind LAN Party Massacre, an indie feature that looks like it has the chops to bring both the laughs and the gore. After my repeated, semi-obsessed watchings of The Machine Girl, this seems like just the thing to give me that much needed laugh after the debacle that was E3 2008. And let's face it, gaming industry: we could all stand to take everything a little less seriously for a few moments, yes?

"What could possibly go wrong?"

Sounds like a nutty cosplayer gone wrong.

Oh my god. Machine Girl was Sooooooooooooooooo awesome. The only mistake that I made was getting it with american dubbed voices, so terrible :(

My thoughts exactly Fana7ic. I DIDN'T download that, only to stop watching after the first scene to search for a properly subbed one, which I never did find. Someday.

Ugh, that tempura scene is so disgusting, I practically threw up.

Then I watched it again.

Although this sounds a bit crazy, it also sounds like fun.
And you're right, it would be retribution for the frak'd up E3.

"F5, the energy drink for gamers! Like you!"

This actually looks like it could be funny.
