I don't want to even think about Ubisoft "running the numbers" because it is quite obvious that numbers tend to run away from Ubisoft.

Indeed. I watched Maurice play it back when he was still working here, and while there were some cool concepts, that was enough to turn me off.
Played the demo on my buddy's EggBox. Seemed alright, but a little yawny and not different enough for me to get past it being from Ubisoft.
I've never pirated a game, but with Ubisoft the only way I would play their games is with a cracked version..

Yeah, so, standard Ubisoft DRM, or Rayman Origins Ubisoft DRM, i.e., nothing? Guess which one will make me pass it up.
DRM rants are getting old. This is really a very decent title at a budget price. I have it on PS3, played through on normal and rarely died enough times at a checkpoint to have to restart. I'd really like people to support this game if they're interested, and there is a demo available on consoles.
I am sick of being called a pirate by these Ubisoft pricks - and that's what they're calling all PC gamers when they claim a ludicrous 90%+ piracy rate. I buy so many f*cking games I can't even play them all.

The quality of the title and the low price make no difference if you can barely play the game, i.e., over 90% (see what I did there?) of Ubisoft's PC games. Not feeling like I own the game + having issues even starting the ones I DO get suckered into buying = I'd rather not even play it, so if this has DRM, they'll get no support from me.

Just read over on RPS that the developers attitude towards PC gamers STINKS, with the usual comments that anyone who plays videogames on a PC is a pirate etc etc.
Game looked interesting but wankers for developers and published by a bunch of rude and clueless french idiots means they can choke on their shitty product and crap attitudes.

I've been really interested in this game for a while-- if they release through steam I'll buy it in a minute.
Good game. Actually knew how to scare you with zombies, monsters etc. and proper lack of resources. Lives system is not a problem. Will definitely buy.

I really loved this game, so hopefully people mod the hell out of it to improve the visuals. I really did love it, but it was pretty ugly in a lot of ways.

Heh. According to that site I actually haven't done too bad. 77 games never played out of 272. It's not even that bad as something like half of the "games" I've never played are DLCs being counted as full games for some reason and of the rest, a good number are games I've played that are being incorrectly registered as played.
