Although the news broke last week about Sam & Max: Season 1 coming to the Wii, it looks like the first image of the game actually running on Nintendo’s point-and-click friendly console slipped through the cracks. Luckily, our very own Adam Dork picked up the slack and found the above picture on Telltale’s Web site.
While not much is shown, just seeing it being played on the Wii gets me even more excited than I was last week after hearing the big news. It is also nice to see that the game looks pretty good, with a healthy level of polish and crisp, vibrant colors.
I wish I had more for you, but this post was really just an excuse to express my unbridled enthusiasm for this game on the front page. And now I am out of things to say.

Call me a "skeptic" or a "douchebag" if you will, but just 'cause a guy is holding a wiimote doesn't necessarily mean that Sam and Max is running on a Wii.
I am pretty excited to see that game make it's way to the wii though.

There's a PC and a PS2 visible, and he's holding a Wiimote. What's your point, people? It must be fake, because no one ever has more than one game console in the same place at the same time! Amirite?
And all of these people are praying that "this is real" why? Who the hell cares if it's real (and there's no reason at all the believe it is)?
Sam & Max Season 1 is already confirmed for the Wii. It's already official, people, and it IS coming out.
What's next? A post showing Tekken 6 running on a PS3?
Oh, and for the benefit of Tpete2008 up there, OF COURSE it will be as good as the GameTap episodes. It IS the GameTap epidsodes. Perhaps the title "Sam & Max: Season 1" wasn't clear enough?
Dude, it's just a video game blog. Not everything has to be huge, super cereal news. Some of us are excited to see it come out on the Wii and, hey, here's a photo that might depict that. Just relax. Even Kotaku posts Peach upskirts.
My thoughts exactly. It would have helped if they removed the PC from the entertainment area.
And yes, that is another 'do want'. :O)
