I feel like I've gotten to wax poetic about Daft Punk for days now, and that pretty much rules. First their confirmation in DJ Hero, then screenshots of said apperance, and now video. I can't believe it! I mean, I get to write about great stuff at this job, but this is seriously a gold mine. Not to mention, the news was awesome and so were the screens .. but now you can hear what its actually going to sound like. To say I wet my pants would be a severe understatement.

Anyway, yeah. I preordered it. I'm guessing a lot of you did too from the comments I've read over the past few days. I honestly CANNOT WAIT to get my grubby hands all over this game. I know a lot of things got pushed back to next year, but at least now I know I have at least one solid music game to look forward to!

Daft Punk, yes. Throw in some of their stuff and I'll think about getting DJ Hero.

Daft Punk: The Best Robot Duo.

Now that is some sex right there.
I'd better start counting my monies...provided it even comes out in the UK any time soon.

My pants are getting tight.

Truth be told, if they did a special DJ Hero edition that was strictly Daft Punk, or even if it was just the Alive 2007 album, that would be an instant buy.

I'm teetering on the fence now, but that would knock me so far over the fence, it would be like getting hit by a Mack truck doing 100mph.

I don't need more music game peripherals, and the fact that it's made by Activision turns me off anymore.

I'd buy a Daft Punk: DJ Hero edition on the cheap, but 11 songs by the same artist on a game not designed for them seems like serious overkill. I even thought 3 Tool songs on GHWT was way too much.

OK, I was curious when I saw their involvement.
ROBOT ROCK MASHED WITH QUEEN?! Oh hell yes. I might HAVE to get this, not by choice.

@Riosan

Right, I mean who would buy a version of Rock Band that only has songs from one band. Pfft. I mean really, A Beatles Rock Band? That'll never work.

I don't know about buying the game, but I'd want to buy a cd with those Daft Punk mixes of those songs on it.

I guess I'm in the minority when I think that Daft Punk hasn't really created anything that great other than their fantastic album "Discovery". And maybe I'll just have to play it on my own, but this game just doesn't look very fun, every gameplay screen I've seen has looked pretty slow paced. D:

Agree with AntonioDaFly. I just want a CD with those awesome mixes on it!

Awesome, I like others really hope these mixes will be released and I won't have to get the game.

Fuck Kotick.

This is your chance, people; if you hate this guy as much as we've all read, don't buy DJ Hero, or any Activision product.

You guys can change this stuff. Let's do it

I think people who propagate hatred activision are total idiots but if it makes you feel any better I'm really not in the market for a DJ game so I won't be buying it. That's almost as good as boycotting. I guess.

@Mulk Calthar?

Idiots? Its everywhere. Just look at gaming sites and talk to your average gamer. They hate Activision. Heck even destructoid is promoting the backlash against Activision with Bobby Kotick articles subtitled Satan's Stories. Are you trying to say Jim Sterling is an idiot?

This game seriously needs AA or something. Something. The graphics are just off somehow.

@Gene Eric: Sigh.

I hate that this is so alluring to me. New Rhythm experiences just make me so happy. Mastering something like this just feels good. I understand the backlash against Activision and everything, but who am I to deny my body the pleasure drugs my brain dispenses when I do well in a new music game?

@Gene Eric: According to Elsa, If I feed you, I must adopt you. It looks Like I've already done that, so I might as well name you as well. How about... Bobby Kotick Jr.? Why, you ask? Because, as right as you are, your rise has come from driving things into the ground.

WE GET IT ALREADY!

We're trying to say that regardless of our personal feelings about Bobby Kotick/Activision, DJ Hero looks rad as fuck, and we would probably buy it if it were being published by Ba'al-berith himself.

I don't understand why you'd call me a troll. I'm just a simple gamer voicing out what i feel for a hobby i'm passionate about. What give you the right to judge me? Are yo trying to say that i should keep quiet and now say what i feel is right?

@ Gene Eric

I don't know you from a fucking hole in the ground.
And you know what, I agree with you. And I fucking LOVE Daft Punk - yet, I won't be buying Activision's stuff for two reasons: one, they're a bunch of soulless fucksticks, and two, I don't feel like shelling out exorbitant loads of money on another goddamned peripheral-based title.

You're not a troll, you're just right.
