What about new play control Wind Waker? That would be cool too. Oh wait, it doesn't matter anymore because I sold my Wii due to a lack of good titles.

FUCK the damned waggle! I love my Wii, but this is exactly why the Wii is building itself up to fail. A precedence has unfortunately been set that if you release a game that has any semblance of Wii-based functionality, it's expected to be a hit.
Meanwhile, real treasures like Okami, No More Heroes, and Zack & Wiki languish on the shelves when they should actually be sitting next to every Wii that's out there.

I actually am looking forward to playing through Pikmin again with the Wiimote controls. Don't know if I'd drop the money for Mario Tennis though... enjoyed the N64 one, but never tried the GameCube version.
I'm pretty sure Pikmin 2 was said to be a New Play Control title when the series was first revealed. Just like both Metroid Prime games, i'd like to purchase again! The new gameplay I think will justify the hopefully cheap cost. If not, there's always second hand..

I would actually give a shit, if nintendo implemented dual games (i.e. - both pikman 1 and 2 on one disc with new controls AND gamecube controls)

Why does everyone keep complaining about "waggle". If any of you people had actually played pikmin, you'd know that it was tailor made for wii controls. Just like Mario Tennis and Metroid Prime, the game will be better because it has wii controls. You don't see them re-releasing mario sunshine or something that wouldn't benefit from wii controls. I hate a lot of what nintendo is doing right now, but these games are going to be great with wii controls.
