So we're a bit behind on bringing this to you, but do you know how long it takes to scour every single Twitter of every person in the gaming business? It's a tiresome task, I tell you. However, we do it so we can bring interesting tweets such as one Randy Pitchford, President, CEO and Co-Founder of Gearbox made on Nov. 11.
On that day he seemingly randomly asked to the Twitter universe, "So... Borderlands DLC4, Clap Trap's New Robot Revolution, was supposed to be our last DLC. Should it be?"
Is Gearbox really thinking about bringing us more Borderlands DLC or is Pitchford just a dirty tease? Either way -- and despite the tweet being a little old -- I'm sure it would help if we all sent him replies with caps lock on that said "YES! YES! YES!" You might want to remind him to make it better than the last DLC, though.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I've only soloed....
Personally, I'd like to see a new game. I'm just about done with Borderlands.
I believe that more dlc is possible. You are correct that there is a 1750 gamerscore upper limit on retail games.
Dlc can only be charge for if it has gamerpoints so any further dlc will have to be free on the 360.
Nope, DLC can have no achievements and still be charged for. See: Assassin's Creed 2.
As for the article, I just DL'd the new patch and have been playing Claptrap's Revolution today. It's good, but it really is just more of the same. Had it been the first DLC released, it would have gotten a better score. I wouldn't mind more DLC, as long as it brought something different to the table--and doesn't mean Borderlands 2 will be delayed.
New game.
I know what your talking about with the,1750 GS cap.
It just makes the game not look 100% finished. A 2000 cap seems so much better.
it's still fun and all, and it's nice to see a well supported product, but the series has lost momentum and is in danger of coming to a complete stop. with so much to choose from these days i need more variety then endless DLC can provide!
also, get that aliens game finished pronto!!!
Also is the Borderlands DLC not good or just not worth $10? I ended up getting a new copy of the GotY edition with all the DLC. But with games like Assassins Creed & Fallout Vegas there's no rime so it's still shrink-wrappped.
@D-Nez: A brief summary for you.
Zombie Island: Funny and unique, and the forests of Jakobs Cove are refreshingly different from the blasted deserts of the main game. Shooting zombies with incendiary rounds is immensely satisfying. Decent DLC.
Underdome: For fanatics only. Lost a lot of its value with the rebalancing patch, as post Playthrough-2 enemies everywhere now match you level for level. Most players will only get any real use out of the weapon storage bank included.
General Knoxx: Damn near a sequel by itself. New enemies. New cars. Challenging stages. An entire new rarity class of guns. Two different places to grab epic loot drops. A must for online play, and the standard by which DLC everywhere should be judged.
Claptrap: The game's plot comes full-circle, but you have to play through an uninspired set of challenges to see it. Killing Claptraps is fun, but pretty much everything about this DLC- especially in light of the stellar General Knoxx- comes across half-assed.
What he said.
So please Randy, pretty-please, if you do make more DLC have the checkpoints for you to hop inbetween so that travel across the expanses of thes new areas is not tedious. I can gurantee at least 1 sale. Hell, maybe 2 since my cousin buys what I buy.
Moxxi for the bank and Knoxx for the weapons, Crawmerax, and levels.
Otherwise, unless the new one has something cool, I feel no need.
