Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

When it comes to games like Namco Bandai's Trusty Bell, there are really only two types of gamers: you're either impatiently tapping your foot awaiting its release, or your scrolling right past this post looking for more bewbs. If you're still with us, then you'll remember that we had a couple of clips of this upcoming Xbox 360 RPG up earlier.

Now there's the actual trailer from the official Web site (which clearly wears the title of Trusty Bell, and not Eternal Sonata), and it's looking as good as we hoped. Namco Bandai's debut RPG for the system is looking stellar with its anime style and top notch voice work. Actually, if you're at all interested in this game, you owe it to yourself to check out the higher quality DivX Stage6 version.

The game is set for release in Japan in June, and hopefully we'll hear about a U.S. release date for whatever the hell it's going to be called soon.

um, Eternal Sonata was never anything other then the North American name, and Trusty Bell was always the Japanese title.

The game was originally announced as Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream, and then later announced for an English release under the name Eternal Sonata.

Based on that video, we need the Japanese voice track... not to include it would be a crime against humanity. Polka's voice actress is great, I want to hear more.

I was eager to watch that trailer thinking it was a new one, but nope once again Destructoid crushes my hopes (like the DMC "New trailer" post last week) this is an ooooold trailer and it was already out in high definition for nearly a month.

@ Dale

Yes, it is definitely called Trusty Bell in Japan, but Bandai-Namco has already stated that it will be called Eternal Sonata when localized. That being said, yay for simultaneous releases. Let's see more of that, Japan.

Yes! Importing games with the Japanese voice tracks and just adding English subtitles can't be that expensive. I mentioned this in a FF post the other day. It's a trend that needs to start soon. Maybe we can start a petition...
