Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

The worst part about this video is that it's more or less indistinguishable from a real Wii rip-off product advertisment. Vii, Wii, Pii, they all sound kind of like something you might see peddled at that shady random electronics store wedged between girly fashion hangouts in your local mall. Who actually buys stuff from those guys, anyway?

At any rate, I'd guess the Pii is not real, considering there are people cracking up laughing in the background at the majority of this video. Of course, that could be because the presenter is mimicking Borat, because somehow people still think that is funny. You can have Pii for fifty American dollar! Har har!

Jeez, the cameraman is "almost" as bad as the one who shot the destructiod panel at Pax08.

Wow... they're trying to pass off a Commodore 64 Disk drive off as a console?

You know, when somebody sent me this ... my first impression was - AWESOME! Then ... I realized that it was a video of the video playing on a TV ... THEN I realized that the funnier of the two videos was missing ... But I figured, hey, no big deal ... I'll just contact the staff writer or owner of the blog ... only to find that she has absolutely no email contact information on any of her blogs and her PM's are disabled on all the services she's on.

So ... hey ... Ms. Bennett, if you're out there, and you'd like to link to the two videos on my above comment, that would be farknig fantastic.

Thanks again for showing this video some love!

I'm sold! Where do I get such a fantastically marvelous item? I'll have to check the flea market/swap meets. :)

"...the presenter is mimicking Borat..."

Acutally, I was kind of going for more of a "Yakov Smirnoff" vibe ... the character runs a game company that's a remnant of the 80's Western Bloc Soviet marketplace selling rip-off gaming look-alike merch.

Borat is great and all, but this character is a more of a cold-war throw-back.
