In recent months, I've taken to giving myself a break in the day by playing a few rounds of Team Fortress 2. When some of my colleagues began to join me, I knew I had yet another opportunity to take something I was enjoying and turn it into a hellish nightmare of a work obligation. And so it is with great pleasure that I give you the first episode of Lights Out, a nightly recap of the day's top stories discussed over a game of TF2.

Meet the rest of the team
Typically, the show records somewhere between 3-5pm Pacific. So, if you want to try and distract us from the conversation we're having, that would probably be the best time to try and do that.
Lame I've favorited the destructoid server but its seriously empty every night but fnf and I don't get off work until 10 pm pst on fridays. Guess I'm doomed to never play with my fellow dtoiders
would love to see this be a regular feature but with different multiplayer games now and then, sometimes recent ones.. It's actually interesting watching some multiplayer from a game i havn't played while listening :P
Great Video! There is something so relaxing about game discussion over TF2 gunfire. I would love to join in (although, I would get massacred by you guys). Btw, did you know the link to the server is down?
That was one of the most insightful well thought out discussions I've ever heard during a Team Fortress 2 match. Not that it's a knock against you, it's just play on servers where people aren't, well.....pleasant.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Great idea anyway. This could be a regular newssource for me.
Welcome to Steam.
Is this done with Replays and the voices is done afterwards?
