Sure, it was an enjoyable popcorn flick... but it's not without flaws.
The hand-holding, obvious exposition was offensive to a Star Trek fan. We don't need the all too familiar premise of a temporal anomaly spelled out to us as if we're 7 or 9 years old. Combine that with the lack of development for a villain that wreaks havok throughout the alpha quadrant in TWO timelines, and I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth.

Yeah I'm not feeling it. I thought the Star Trek movie was pretty good, but turning a Star Trek game into a third person shooter leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Really enjoyed the reboot, and wanted something more than the arcade space combat game we got when that came out. Keeping an eye on this one, hope it turns out well.
