Insomniac saving Resistance 3 footage for the VGAs

9:00 PM on 12.01.2010

With still more than a week until the Spike Video Game Awards, you just know there's going to be a bunch more teasers and whatnot in the days leading up to the show. The latest is for Resistance 3, which is in the same vein as an earlier live-action trailer.

This one is significantly shorter, but it does tell us that the first in-game footage will be coming soon. Studios tend to save their big, flashy videos for this show, so this should be one for Resistance fans to get excited about. I'm hoping for the train battle that was depicted on the November issue of Game Informer.

Saturday, December 11 at 8:00 PM EST is when the VGAs start, or you can wait a few hours and skim your videogame site of choice for the crucial announcements and videos. Either way, make sure to chug Mountain Dew and snort leftover dust from Doritos. Simultaneously, if possible.

Review: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare: Havoc

Call of Duty map packs are definitely a mixed bag. Fifteen dollars is pricey by any standards, and the prospect of one or two remade maps and a grand total of four arenas isn't anything to get excited about. Advanced Warfare's new Havoc DLC has just arrived this week on Xbox platforms, and it's par for the course in terms of what you'd expect. As usual though, zombies save the day.more
