Really, really looking forward to this. There is no way they aren't going to focus on the co-op and I'm excited to see where they take the franchise now.
@Darckcloud723 I felt the same way with the first game, and then a friend and myself jammed it on co-op in a day and I fell in love. Unlike most people I actually liked the second better than the first too.
Loved the first one. It was the closest a console-exclusive shooter ever came to reminding me of the PC glory days with its online multiplayer, while the offline campaign co-op made it a game me and various friends would play through time and time again.
R2 was a bit of a let-down with the lack of campaign co-op, as well as the "Only carry 2 weapons" mentality which meant that you always online carried the two safest weapons in the game. The two weapons deal was even worse considering R2 had some truly interesting weapons.
I just hope R3 is able to bring out the best of both and add in some good new ideas as well.

I'm playing 2 at the moment. Fantastic game. I don't know what some people have against this series. It is anything but generic.
I just hope it's better than the last two.

@sofik88 - as someone who couldn't get into it, I didnt find it genaric at all, the weapons were different, the settings (as far as I got in both 1&2) were deferent then I have seen in most shooters, and the story: an alien attack during WW2. Its not a bunch of space marines and modernwar. (and I couldn't get into it, why?)

If your talking about the 8 player co-op, I have read (most likely here) that they are taking that out of the third game. I really hope that is untrue because the 8 player co-op was the strongest and most fun part of R2. I loved that game mode!

i still have fingers crossed for the Dylan Jobe's next game, they've been working on it now for years without one screenshot shown!

The only way I don't lose my shit and wreck everything in sight is if the "co-op" becomes the new "campaign". I'm still upset they never released new co-op levels for R2. I really hope what you read was untrue -__-
