PAX is just looking better and better this year. As if hanging out with Destructoid peeps wasn't awesome enough you'll be able to check out Insomniac's newest game. The company has admitted that it will be showing of its new game at PAX, thus insinuating that it will be announcing the game there or sometime before (possibly at Gamescon).
In a news letter the developer stated that it would be bringing its new game to PAX and showing it off at a panel moderated by G4TV's Adam Sessler. The development team will not only discuss this mysterious new game, but will also demo it for all to see. This means that we will get our first look at whatever this mysterious game could be within the next few months. Truly mysterious.
All right, maybe mysterious is too strong a word. It's about time they got around to it, though.

The new IP is multiplat so they have rules that out.
Unless they have 3 projects?

Resistance 2 was shit.
Resistance 2 wasnt that bad, i actually enjoyed it in some ways more then the original. But not the online. Couldnt get on with the online on either games....
I can't really comment on the Resistance games, as I haven't played much of them, but I thought Tools of Destruction was great. Probably one of the best PS3 games I've played so far. I thought I'd be getting tired of the R&C formula after so many years, but nope. And it certainly is a platformer, just with heavy action elements.
The Wii does have some awesome looking platformers, though. I just haven't had time to get around to many of them, yet.
