Ratchet & Clank are probably coming back in some sort of videogame form. Yep. I'm aware that I have gone out on a limb here, but there’s a reason behind my risky prediction:
Yesterday, Insomniac Games teased a contest involving the quirky property on the official PlayStation blog. The contest, Captain Qwark’s “My Blaster Runs Hot” Ratchet & Clank Future Weapon Design Contest Sponsored by Gadgetron (or CQMBRHRCFWDCSG, for short), will test design mettle by challenging participants to create a new Ratchet & Clank weapon. The details won’t be fully revealed until Friday, but the contest will involve sending in a description and an image of the created weapon.
It’s hard to believe this contest will be to the benefit of the PlayStation 2 port Secret Agent Clank, however, I suppose crazier things have happened. One time, I fought a ranked match in Street Fighter IV against someone who wasn’t using Ken.

There's the game this contest is for
