Insomniac Games bringing Sunset Overdrive to Xbox One

Insomniac Games' Ted Price got on stage today at Microsoft's E3 press conference to talk about their newest title Sunset Overdrive. Taking place in a "growing world" where new content such as new weapons can be added daily in a stylized, open-world game that's influenced by the players.

This is where Ted showed the reveal trailer (with no actual gameplay), which showed off a vivid world taken over by zombie-esque ghouls that have taken over the game's city. The first character ran speedily through the city, in what looked like Mirror's Edge gameplay turned up to 11. This character was met by two others, with one fighting back the monsters with a vinyl-shooting gun. This one's looking pretty interesting, so hopefully it doesn't end up like Fuse!

Sunset Overdrive has an offline single-player mode

While we've only really seen a conceptual trailer for the eye-catching Sunset Overdrive, I'm hopeful this will be a return to form for developer Insomniac Games. It's post-apocalyptic, but not in the usual drab way. Speaking ...more

The first trailer for the Need for Speed movie is here

Oh you didn't forget, did you? There's going to be a Need for Speed movie, and it's going to star Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul. The first trailer for the movie has plenty of cliché going for it, you know, the same kind of stuff you've seen from movies about racing cars before.
