I'll admit, initially I really liked the idea of a Native American assassin. I loved the imagery that surrounded this game, so much so that when they announced those steelbooks for pre-orders I went and pre-ordered. But then I realized that I loved AC1, and wasn't crazy about 2, never played the spin-offs, why would I like this? Plus I've got Halo a week after this comes out to occupy me, and Dishonored a few weeks prior.
So I cancelled this and got Darksiders 2, which I'm enjoying immensely. That is all.
nope, im with you there.
if only they didn't released Revelation, just Brotherhood to keep you waiting for 3.
adding in Revelations is just a needless cash in.
im the type of gamer who needs to experience every bit of a game.
now i realized there's just too many franchises to spend time with.
nowadays, im playing VN games, and there are better than than lot of $49-$59 games nowadays
also after seeing Dishonored, i feel that it should have been what the AC games wanted to be.
wish the game was 3rd person though.
And yeah I've got the rest of my gaming year lined up. Borderlands, Dishonored and Halo. Maybe Black Ops or Hitman if I can get some good deals. Or gifts!
Dishonored looks great. Great setting and from the looks of it great gameplay. And I like that it's not a sandbox, actually. I love getting my shenanigans on but a more focused stealth/assassination game should be a little more linear.
Game publications who name an AssCreed game as GOTY should lose all credibility. Mr. Sterling's review of AssCreed 2 was too kind. I'd rather waste money on another fps than a shitty AssCreed game.
The games that came after it had even better gameplay mechanics than the first one. In this iteration, seeing that the combat mechanics received a major upgrade, you would expect people to be happy, right? Wrong. People want this to be as ¨simple¨ as AC1, there is just no pleasing the crowds.
@PrinceHeir just because you didn´t care about AssRev, it doesn´t means that it is unnecessary, it adds closure to Ezio´s story and reveals more about Altair´s past.
God forbid to release a non numeric game because it´s an excuse for an evil company to make money out of it.
Throwing knives become shuriken and kunai, shortswords become wakizashis and ninjatos, the main weapon becomes katanas and nodachis, and the bombs are self explanitory. Add in a grappling hook rope and some better unarmed combat with some better building scaling and you have perhaps the coolest Creed game yet. The devs may not think Japan is a good locale but how can they not if China is? Bullshit. I want to be a Ninja Assassin who kills Samurai Templars damnit! Think about all the pretty roofs one can run on!
