It's time for one of those "wow" moments that crop up in this industry so often these days. It would seem that Robert Bowling, community manager at Infinity Ward, is sick to death of Activision's Noah Heller comparing Call of Duty: World at War with his own studio's Modern Warfare. So sick, in fact, that he has demanded Heller stop on his personal blog.
Bowling's outrage has been tipped over the edge by Heller talking about bolt-action rifles in previous Call of Duty games, suggesting that only in World at War are they one-hit kills like they should be. Here was his answer to Noah's claim:
The IW community rep has suggested that "Senior Super Douche Noah Heller from Activision" needs to stop being given interviews, since he "has never played the game and doesn't even work at the developer." Very strong, very angry words. I'm all for crapping on Activision, but damn ... how long is he going to be keeping that job? [Thanks, xe-cute] Next page: More Call of Duty stories ![]()
