I’ve had an amazing time with Street Fighter IV, but the penis-less wonder, the silvery Seth, has tarnished my Arcade experience. His Ultra Combo breaking grapples and knack to deflate my meager offense with his Hyakuretsukyaku drives me batty. I burn with the desire to defeat him soundly, without trouble. It appears that I finally have the chance. EventHub posted the above video, displaying an infinite, indestructible Fei Long combo.

Don’t worry about seeing it reproduced online much -- it only works against Seth and Abel.

About a week ago, I spoke to Capcom’s PR manager Tim Ng about the possibilities of a Championship Edition of the game based off other rumored infinite chains. He told me, “We’re always looking into the possibilities with the Championship Expansion Pack on the horizons. But we can’t confirm anything at the moment yet.”

The update he referred to will add a Championship Mode to the base game, allowing players to face off in tiered conflict online. It’s unknown when it will hit, and obviously Capcom is still open to all that the download will encompass.

hopefully the patch will make Ken useless on line which will then make the thousand cheap fucks who use said Blondie be reduced to nothing...

Infinite? I don't think so, it's just a practice bot, so it probably won't work in a real match.

Also, el fuerte has an infinite combo but is considered very difficult to pull off even by high level players

Yeah I saw this on Youtube about a week ago. It's not an infinite and anything can basically break it.

reading the article I'm happy that there's a "championship patch" and they're not gonna release separate retail products like in the old days.

Awesome, except for the fact that you gotta hear that fucking "WAAH-TAH" over and over again. Jesus.

If you're trying to defeat Seth for the purpose of unlocking characters, put in easiest then do fierce jump kick and fierce sweep, he goes down super easy.

Ken is already useless...lol.

this infinite is pointless. why? Because it doesn't work on Ken. looooolers.

seriously though, this is useless. Cause there's not enough Abel players and Seth takes a even worse beating than Akuma when played by a human.

and Seth isn't hard....seriously.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

WATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATTAATATA!

WAAAAA TAAAAAAAAAAAH!

That's what an infinite combo should sound like.

Looped endlessly, of course.

Ok.

1. It's not that big of a deal
2. If you notice, around half life, it stops doing any meaningful damage at all.
3. It's really hard to do that. The standing mp (I think thats what it is) after the chicken wing is VERY hard to time every single time.
4. It only works on 2 characters and neither of them are Ken so I doubt anyone online really has to worry about it.

I must be really lucky cuz I'm hardly running into Ken players...

...

Now AKUMA and the ever-fireball-throw-mofo is the player I run into. I don't complaing too much cuz it gives me good Chun Li practice... but still...

Annoying... annoying... so bloddy ANNOYING!!

(2 bonus points if someone tells me which character from which fighting game says that as a victory quote... WITHOUT GOOGLE!)

Whats the big deal? Almost every Capcom fighting game has multiple infinite combo characters. Everyone in Xmen Vs. Street Fighter had one.

I don't have the game yet, but I just have to know... what the hell is up with all of the Ken hate? Meh, I won't be playing online anyway, so it likely won't even matter to me, but I'm still interested to know what makes him so "cheap".

Also, it's been my experience, even in the arcades from the days of old, that the ones who complain about "cheap" players are usually just scrubs who aren't very good to begin with. Just sayin'.

I'm very happy to hear that this is an update patch, and not paid DLC. So...bonus. I just hope that it comes out relatively quickly - one on one matches with Dtoiders ain't cutting it, we need a "quarter match" kinda setup.

Im OK, it's not so much that Ken is cheap, it's that 80% of the people in ranked matches use nothing but him. Gets kinda old after a while.

Ken is a chump. You can generally easily bait a Ken player into throwing a dragon punch, which you can block and then either score a grab or a 2-hit hard strike on landing. Rinse, repeat.
