In another one of its behind-the-scenes PlayStation 4 developer videos, Sony has rounded up developers at Sucker Punch Productions to talk about one of the more promising games, inFamous: Second Son, and the improved feel of the DualShock 4.
"You have to rethink how everything works when you jump generations and that was a great time for us to also rethink the character and the power set because you already proverbially have all of the parts on the floor," said Sucker Punch founder Brian Fleming. "It's a great time to think about how you want to put them back together. And it gives us a lot of energy around doing another game in this universe because there's so much for us to go build and go build what's possible."
The control scheme has been revised going into Second Son to help streamline combat. I haven't been able to get any hands-on time with the title yet, but from what I've seen demonstrated, that looks to be the case -- actions flow together nicely when the player knows what they're doing.
