inFAMOUS now down to 40 bucks, DLC announced photo

Sucker Punch Production’s inFAMOUS is no stranger to promotional sales, but it appears that the latest price slash is permanent. According to an SCE newsletter, the open-world action game is now being sold at a suggested price of $39.99 -- a savings of a little over 10 bones, which doesn’t seem like a bad deal for a solid PS3-exclusive.

Those who own the game are in for a treat courtesy of the publisher as well: on December 10th, DLC dubbed “Gigawatt Blades” (called so for an obvious reason) is slated to hit PSN as a free download. ELECTRIFYING.

Ack I got it with the preorder(at least its still free), One hitting things to death is always fun.

I really should get the last 2 trophys in that game, just 5 more freaking shards.

Now if they could just patch the game so my 1080i only TV (no 720p, and I'm poor) can see it in it's full glory!

In the UK its been a part of the budget priced PS3 classics for a few weeks now. I'm surprised they haven't done that ovr in the states, the game can be found for little more than £15 these days!

Reminds me that I still haven't gotten around to finishing the neutral alignment story...

Cool, too bad I've had it and the gigawatt blades since release.

Download codes for the "Gigawatt Blades" add-on were originally included in the special edition. Nothing to get excited about. It's just a power up makes your melee attacks stronger.

Don't judge. I only bought the special edition because pre-ordering it cost the same as the regular version at on release.

Cool :D

You got the Blades if you had the Special Edition, so it's nice of them to release it for free :)

Also in the UK it's already Platinum and you can get it for £15 ($20-25).
