inFamous demo drops a Sly Cooper 4 hint photo

Anthropomorphic animals come in all shapes and sizes in gaming, but possibly one of the best shapes and sizes is that of Sly Cooper from the Sly Cooper series. In case you haven't noticed it has been awhile since we saw Sly Cooper and his merry band of thieves. Not a Duke Nukem Forever while, but a while none the less. This is most likely because the developer behind the series is Sucker Punch and they're working on the upcoming inFamous, which probably takes up a lot of time.

However, the team there doesn't want us all to lose hope about there being a fourth game in the Cooper series. A gamer with eyes like a hawk and the need to climb around on every building in the already released demo of inFamous has spotted a little tease about Sly Cooper 4. If you take a look above you can clearly see that the cinema marquee lists Sly Cooper 4 and this detail confirms the game beyond a shadow of a doubt.

OK, maybe not, but at least now we can all keep our fingers crossed about one more thing showing up at E3.

This reminds me of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, where they drop hints at Killer Instinct and Jet Force Gemini sequels.

THAT IS AMAZING! I love stuff like this in a video game and I like the reference to Uncharted 2. Coincidence? I think not!

Yeah, except Sly 4 will actually be made.

Nuts. I should've reserved this at Best Buy. Then I'd have a code for the demo instead of some dumb Gamespot gigawatt blades whose giveaway code will be posted on GameFAQs ten seconds after shipping.

Sly Cooper was my favorite PS2-era platformer. I liked it way better than Jak, and even better than Ratchet.

@Craig
I second the Sly series being better than Jak and Ratchet, especially Sly 2-3.

I really hope it's true, but I also really hope they they trim back the cast a bit. Sly 2 was great, Sly 3 started getting messy with all the random other characters joining the main three.

This wasn't the only Sly tease in the demo. If you look on his backpack, it's got a Sly icon near one of the straps.
