Top down shooters are always great for some quick, exciting action. You see something move, you shoot it. Shadowgrounds, Alien Breed and Alien Swarm were great for that and now you can add the indie title [stranded] to the list. 

Developed by indie team Nxy Studios, [stranded] puts you in the role of Theodore O'Hare, whose military ship has crash landed on an unknown planet. Needing to activate a series of rescue beacons, O'Hare must blast his way past hostile aliens, sentry guns and, at least by what's in the trailer, dinosaurs! Actually, make that alien dinosaurs which are even better.

Whilst the game play looks fairly standard for a top down shooter, [stranded] still looks like it could be a lot of fun. If you want to give the game a try, head over to website and download the game for free. Yes, free! Go on, give it a go.

@WarZombie The Mac version has been uploaded to our Indie DB page, we are just awaiting authorization, it was uploaded only about a day after the windows version so you shouldn't have too long to wait.
