It's been a long time coming, but the heavily anticipated documentary Indie Game: The Movie will finally make its debut this week. The film will premiere to an audience -- that, let's be honest, couldn't care less about videogames -- at Sundance Film Festival. As part of Flixist's on-site Sundance 2012 coverage, I sat down with the filmmakers behind this ambitious project.

Head over to Flixist to hear us discuss the project's origin, the challenges they faced, and what videogame documentaries may be in-store for the future. For more indie gaming goodness, head over to Flixist on Monday for a full review and look for a batshit crazy interview with myself, Jonathan Holmes, and Team Meat here on Dtoid.

The Blue Flamingo is a ridiculously adorable shmup

Swedish game studio Might and Delight really knows how to make games that stand out visually. Its attractive-looking paper art style on the Shelter series is, in my mind, unmistakable. I can recognize the stud...more
