Yeah! Knytt was such a sweet game.
I with they'd release a Within a Deep Forest sequel though
awesome. i recall knytt being posted here a long time ago. definitely a great game, and i'll have to check this out for sure.
Kyntt and WaDF were two of the most fun games that I've ever played. They are simple (very much so in the case of Knytt) but remind me of the same fun feeling I had the first time I played zelda. Or tits.
Huh I youtubed it to see what it looks like and noticed destructoid hosts most of the videos.
Knytt is awesome. Glad he didn't lose interest in making this sequel. Off to play it now. (well... the new one)

Knytt has a delicious N flavor to it, but I always have that confused sense of "Where the hell am I going?" every time I try to play it.
Holy cow, this game is freaking awesome. Wish there more quality indie games like that :D Will try this Cave Story next.

There is also an expansion containing 4 new levels already out on the official website, including one doozy so large it makes "The Machine" look like a kiddy pool.

im playing this right now.
i just got the umbrella and cant figure out where to go.
I think you have to head down and left from where you got the umbrella ... it's hard to remember. But yeah, I spent easily two hours messing around with maps. There are some really cool tile sets included.
I love how it's like Knytt, but WAY cooler. The actual need to go out and collect power ups makes it much more of a progressive game instead of just random wandering.
Knytt was good, especially with the hidden items like the glider hehe
Weee :) It's been a long time since I played Knytt, I hope the new addition is good as the old one :)
Did anyone finished within a deep forest, I got stuck on the last level :(
