Indiana Jones reappears on handhelds, a part of me dies photo

GamePro (via PEGI) is reporting that Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is back, only this time in handheld form. PEGI, an European entity responsible for rating videogames, recently listed the title for the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS. Lucas Arts originally announced the game in 2005 for next-gen platforms.

Lucas Arts was probably a little too bit busy with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to bother with Indiana Jones. Even though I should be excited that the title has popped back up, I don’t want it in my hands. I would rather see Indy in all his glory on a console, considering that I don’t sit in the back of a car enough to truly enjoy the blessing of a handheld device.

I recently asked my PSP what it thought about the possibility of having Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and it said, “Wait, Indiana Jones is still relevant? Where do you get this stuff, Brad?”

I guess it was just as disappointed with the latest sequel as I was.

Actually, your PSP probably had an orgasm that something good was going to be released on it, shat bullets when it realized it was actually going to be asked to run it well, got high on methamphetamines to kill the pain and then slurred out what you said.

I'd have done the same.

Indiana Jones: Staff of Kings? Why is there an Indiana Jones game about the Dtoid staff?

I would play this on the PSP, but only if I can jump in a refrigerator to avoid a nuclear explosion first.

isn't it incorrect to say "an European"? I think it is incorrect due to European being pronounced like "You-roh-pee-an".

That's all, folks!

Wouldn't it be sweet if it had some aliens in it? But not from space, hmmm... maybe from the space BETWEEN spaces? That would rock.

They're still working on the console version, right Brad? Please say yes.

As far as I'm concerned, Indy only ever worked as a point and click adventure.

Sure, brawling is all fun. But if you want to brawl, why not ask for a new Double Dragon game?

I want adventure!
