When it gets dark, Dying Light will freak you out

Daytime? Nice, warm rays of orange sunshine as if you were perpetually awaking from a refreshing cat nap? Sure, whatever. Drop kick zombies freely, like you're Faith from Mirror's Edge. Even zombies look a bit silly and list...

Batman: Arkham Origins gets free 'Hunter, Hunted' mode photo
Batman: Arkham Origins gets free 'Hunter, Hunted' mode
by Jordan Devore

I'm not currently playing Batman: Arkham Origins' multiplayer. Are you? Are your friends?

WB Games has release a new mode for the game, and I hope someone's out there enjoying it. "Hunter, Hunted" is a free addition on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in which three Joker thugs, three Bane thugs, and Batman try to outlast each other with no respawns.

As appealing as it is to play as the Caped Crusader, man, talk about pressure. Glad to see this mode arrive in a free update so as to avoid splitting up the player base.

New screenshots for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

LEGO The Hobbit sure looks familiar

This trailer for LEGO The Hobbit checks all of the usual boxes for these titles. Coming off of LEGO The Lord of the Rings and its rather neat open-ended world, I'm curious to see how this new game will differ. The silliness ...

Batman: Arkham Origins is getting story DLC in December

Batman: Arkham Origins is no stranger to DLC, and alongside of the lackluster Season Pass comes the announcement of the first story related add-on. I use the word "story" lightly, as the game is actually a challenge map&...

Batman: Arkham Collection to bundle your Batmen photo
Batman: Arkham Collection to bundle your Batmen
by Steven Hansen

Warner Bros. is bundling its Batmen with the Arkham Collection, set to release in the UK on November 22.

The package consists of a physical copy of the newly released Arkham Origins, which Jim did not like. It also seems to retcon Arkham Origins Blackgate from the series by exclusion. The previous, Rocksteady-developed Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are included via download codes.

Strangely, only the PC bundle includes all of the Game of the Year Edition content for the previous two games, though the PS3 bundle at least has Origins' Knightfall pack. All the PC copies are Steam compatible. No word on pricing or a release outside of the UK. Also no word on why you should buy this instead of just buying the first two better games on the cheap.

Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes photo
Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
by Brett Zeidler

Star WarsIndiana JonesBatman (later the entirety of DC), Pirates of the CaribbeanHarry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings -- arguably a majority of the world's largest entertainment properties -- have all been brought to life in videogames after being passed through the adorable LEGO filter by Traveller's Tales. And, well, they've handled each franchise masterfully and created some truly great games with each of them over the years. What could possibly be next?

I can't be the only one who's been dreaming since LEGO Star Wars that we would one day see LEGO Marvel make its videogame debut, but, seeing as Traveller's Tales is a subsidy of Warner Bros., it was seemingly never going to happen. However, by some remarkable turn of events (due to the magic of licensing), here we are with LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.

It's nothing short of a miracle this game was even made, but it's something we can only be happy about.
