Zelda on Netflix looks to be Game of Thrones for the whole family photo
Zelda on Netflix looks to be Game of Thrones for the whole family
by Robert Summa

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that a live-action The Legend of Zelda series is currently being developed by Netflix. According to mysterious sources quoted by the Journal, the series is still in its early stages of development and is apparently working closely with Nintendo.

The show is still seeking a writer, so it may be quite a bit of time before we hear a whole lot more about this. The most we know right now is that the series will be based on the traditional Zelda story and is looking to be like Game of Thrones, but for a family audience.

The Majora's Mask music in Hyrule Warriors is so damn catchy

I know it's early, but anyone else dig into the Majora's Mask DLC for Hyrule Warriors yet? I've played about an hour of it today and I'm loving the Termina map, especially its music, embedded above. So upbeat despite that ac...

Hyrule Warriors had the most successful launch of any Musou game in the U.S.

Nintendo's gambit with one of its most profitable properties seems to have paid off. Koei Tecmo's Hyrule Warriors is the fastest selling of any entry of the Musou series released in the United States. Great DLC and iconi...

Majora's Mask gets a cute lil '90s-feeling, live-action commercial

In a fitting tribute to the days of polygonal graphics that didn't play well on air, Majora's Mask 3DS has a nice little commercial you wouldn't be surprised to see stationed between episodes of Rocko's Modern Life...

You can slice the Moon in half in next week's Hyrule Warriors DLC!

In this trailer overviewing the Majora's Mask DLC for Hyrule Warriors, we get to see Young Link don the Fierce Deity's mask and cut the Moon in half. My dark fantasy has finally been realized. There's more excitement abound:...

Here are all of Majora's remastered masks

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is coming to 3DS, if you've missed the hype around it or its limited edition New 3DS XL. Holmes wrote one of my favorite pieces of last year about it, right here. while Ben "bbain" Davi...

These Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy mashups are amazing

Tumblr user Shattered-Earth has outdone themselves. Taking a cue from the beautiful art style of Final Fantasy, they've crafted four wonderful title cards based on a few of the core games, but with Zelda characters in to...

Majora's Mask 3D bosses are considerably different photo
Majora's Mask 3D bosses are considerably different
by Kyle MacGregor

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is more than just a simple port. The portable remaster introduces sweeping changes, like adding fishing holes, apparently. Other things too, probably.

We can't divulge everything just yet, as there's a review embargo-shaped trapdoor under our feet, but some of the alterations to boss fights have seeped out into the Internet and the world at large.

While at PAX South over the weekend, I had the opportunity to demo the game, where I noticed Odolwa, the guardian of the Woodfall Temple, was a tad different than how I'd remembered.

Hyrule Warriors ships one million units worldwide, which is damn good for the Wii U

Hyrule Warriors is a really good game, which is why I'm glad it shipped one million units globally. Koei Tecmo has recently announced the numbers, and although yes, that number is shipped, not sold, that's still great for a W...

Nostalgia blast! Viz Media reprinting Zelda: A Link to the Past Nintendo Power comic

Shotaro Ishinomori's The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past comic for Nintendo Power (RIP) was a few years before my time. But, a quick Google image search later, I can confirm that it's as cool-looking and expressive as eve...

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds soundtrack comes to Club Nintendo Europe

Club Nintendo is closing. A new loyalty program will be coming later this year, but I really enjoyed my time with it. The Club isn't completely dead yet though, especially in the case of the European version. The service rece...

Experience Points .01: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask photo
Experience Points .01: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
by Ben Davis

Experience Points is a series in which I highlight some of the most memorable things about a particular game. These can include anything from a specific scene or moment, a character, a weapon or item, a level or location, a part of the soundtrack, a gameplay mechanic, a line of dialogue, or anything else about the game that is particularly noteworthy and/or awesome.

This series will no doubt contain spoilers for the games being discussed, so keep that in mind if you plan on playing the game for the first time.

With Majora's Mask 3D coming out in a few weeks, I figured it would be fitting to make the first entry all about The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, which happens to be my favorite Zelda game. Feel free to share some of your own favorite things about the game in the comments!
