With all of the good news rolling in on Hyrule Warriors, this new information comes with a fair bit of disappointment -- there will not be online co-op for the game's campaign. Confirmed on the official Japanese Twitter accou...

A Hyrule Warriors-centric Nintendo Direct is coming on Monday

Nintendo is planning a Direct presentations soon, and it's going to be all about Hyrule Warriors. You can catch it next Monday (August 4th) at 8PM PST at this link. We've seen a ton of character reveals so far, so I wouldn't ...

Ocarina of Time was originally supposed to be a remake of Zelda II

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is considered a timeless classic, but it originally began as a remake of one of the most disliked Zelda titles (although my third favorite). Early on, Nintendo aimed to recreate...

How about if a bunch of Zelda characters were birds instead?

Stop it, Epona! Carrots aren't for birds! And poor Tingle -- I imagine all the other birds make fun of him because they fly around effortlessly, and he's tethered to a balloon. Birds are dumb jerks.

Link's outfit looks pretty badass in Monster Hunter 4
by Chris Carter

We've already known that Monster Hunter 4 has a very neat looking set of Link armor and weapon sets, but we haven't seen a whole lot of footage on them -- until this week that is, when Capcom unleashed a new trailer into the world.

Ok that's great -- but all people are thinking in the West is "are we getting it?!" Now we can finally answer that question with a resounding "yes," compliments of Capcom Unity. Yes -- the West will be getting Link's armor and weapon sets.

Confirmed: Link's weapons and armor are in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate [Capcom Unity]

Darunia will hammer all-comers

Most of the official trailers for Hyrule Warriors are short compilations showing off big and boisterous attacks. What they haven't shown is much of the game's overall flow and pacing. That's caused some to worry that Nintend...

See Sheik, Princess Ruto, and Darunia in action in Hyrule Warriors

This newest batch of Hyrule Warriors screenshots is pretty insane, and shows off the newly announced Sheik, Darunia, and Princess Ruto characters in all their glory. Darunia seems to have a giant hammer, most likely pinning h...

Link suplexes giant rock cylinders and smashes in Hyrule Warriors

The most fun bit here is definitely picking up enemies as they flail ineptly. The rest is pure carnage as Link wrecks underlings and even a giant mouthed boss worm with these clobbering gloves and ball and chain.  Much more brute force than Zelda with the wind waker.

Smooth McGroove makes me feel horrible about my humming abilities yet again

Smooth McGroove does it again with this wonderful arrangement of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link's Temple/Palace Theme. This man is a bundle of talent and I can't wait to see his next new take on an old classic. As a rule, YouTube personalities don't normally impress me in this manner, but I've enjoyed Smooth's takes on classic gaming tunes. Perhaps it'll brighten your day a bit as well.

Yes, there's a new Ocarina of Time world record, and yes, it's damn impressive

Ocarina of Time is a timeless classic that many have tried their hand at being the world's best at over the years. As of this past weekend, one player cemented his hold on the any percent completion category, and he goe...

You've got to hear this soothing banjo rendition of Link to the Past's Darkworld

As I've said before, A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game. It has it all, mixed with perfect pacing, clean graphics, and a more open structure than pretty much every other game in the series. Another reason why ...
