The Short Peace project was born out a desire to unite some of Japan's most talented artists and tell stories about the country's past, present, and a possible future. The result is a lovely bouquet of action, romance, and so...

Short Peace arrives in the Americas on September 30, Bandai Namco has announced.
The anthology features four animated shorts headlined by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo, and Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day, a side-scrolling action game from Suda 51 and Tokyo Jungle studio Crispy's. It will be available on PlayStation 3 exclusively as a downloadable package.
During the Sony E3 press conference, we got the chance to check out Suda51's new free-to-play survival horror title Let it Die. As Grasshopper Manufacture's first F2P title, it seemed to be a bit of a departure for them. Howe...
Suda 51 is infamous for games featuring ultraviolence and kooky psychological storylines. Though his games have become a bit more easily digestible over time, he still commands a lot of attention when he attaches his name to a project.
PlayStation 4 will be getting his next title, Let it Die, as an exclusive. Though only a short teaser was shown, and we do not even know what kind of game it will be, I can already imagine fans getting worked up over it.
Liberation Maiden Sin probably isn't ever getting localized, but we can always hope.
The visual novel based on Grasshopper Manufacture's Nintendo 3DS shooter is definitely coming to PlayStation Vita, though. That's happening in Japan this summer. And the folks at Mages have put together a new opening cinematic for the game.
So watch that and weep softly.
Teenage president and mecha pilot Shoko Ozora is returning to her portable roots with a PlayStation Vita port of Liberation Maiden Sin. Initially released on PS3 last December, the visual novel follow-up to Grasshopper Manufacture's Nintendo 3DS shooter makes a second pass on its attack run on July 31.
Of course, this all applies solely to Japan. Because we can't have nice things.
I finally got to play Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day last week. The lovechild of Suda 51, Tokyo Jungle director Yohei Kataoka, Silent Hill sound director Akira Yamaoka, and a bunch of other Japanese development talent, I've followed Ranko Tsukigime closely.
So I was excited to finally get to play it. But I couldn't talk about it until today. Despite the fact that it decided to up and release in Europe last week. Even though it doesn't have a firm North American release date.
Whatever. I'm going to go see Short Peace in theatres this Thursday at least.
Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day arrived in Europe over the weekend. Developed by Tokyo Jungle studio Crispy's and Grasshopper Manufacture, the PlayStation 3 title serves as the final installment to anime legend Katsuhiro ...
Worldwide sales of Lollipop Chainsaw have crossed the million mark, Grasshopper Manufacture has announced. The milestone took nearly two years to reach, following the saccharine zombie game's launch in June 2012.
That may not...
Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo's Short Peace anthology is on its way to PlayStation 3 in North America, Europe, and Australasia this spring, courtesy of Namco Bandai.
In addition to Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day, a sides...
Amazing news, everyone! Namco Bandai has announced plans to localize Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day for PlayStation 3 in the Americas, Europe, and Australasia this spring.
The side-scroller is the fifth and final installment ...
The stunning fifth and final episode of Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo's Short Peace anthology made its debut on PlayStation 3 in Japan today. I'm all kinds of jealous right now.
A sidescrolling action game, Ranko Tsukigi...
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day will serve as the concluding piece to Short Peace, a four-part animated anthology from Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo. I need to see this film so badly. Just look at the art in those traile...

Killer is Dead was a day one purchase for me, though from what I hear from my peers, a lot of consumers didn't have the confidence to pick it up upon initial release. With the gift giving holidays just around the corner, and all of your "must-have" games already safely in your possession, maybe this is just the kind of game you'd like to own but not pay for.
Tempted to send your mom out to the local strip mall with instructions to ask the man at the counter to sell her one shiny new copy of Killer is Dead to stuff in your stocking? Check out Suda 51's spoiler-packed favorite moments and see if you're not convinced, and check out our contest for a signed copy of the game while you're at it.
In this hurricane of emotions and hype during the release of the next-gen consoles, it's easy to get caught up in fandom and want to stick with what you know most. Because of this, Suda51 spoke his mind about the current situ...
