Persona 3

On April 4, the third Persona 3: The Movie will hit theaters in Japan, compliments of Aniplex. It has just released a new trailer for the anime film that you can view above. As an aside, the second film will be out...
Here it is. Formerly rumored and now in butt kickin' video form, Margaret is making her way to Persona 4 Ultimax Arena's roster. Free-for-the-first-week DLC characters Adachi and Marie also got English trailers, below, ...
Let's celebrate the recent September 30 date for Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax with this trailer for Mitsuru. She's the best, despite her whacked out Arena costume.
The Hollow Forest Tsundere Poet, Marie, is in Persona 4 Ultimax as DLC. Atlus has now confirmed that, like Adachi, Marie will be freely available to download for the first week post-release. Following the first we...

Beating on people with your handbag is less cool than beating on people with a folding chair, but it's still pretty cool. Also, throwing presents at them. Very sweet. Marie will be paid DLC for Persona 4 Ultimax. And can we talk about that music? So fun.
The waifu wars rage on as Marie joins the cast of the region free Persona 4 Ultimax. She is the second DLC character announced for the game. The first, Adachi, will be free for the first week of launch before revert...
After raising some ire region locking Persona 4 Arena (one of the only PS3 games that is region locked), Atlus decided that its follow up, set to release in the North and South America this fall, "will not be region locked for the Americas."  So this time around you European folk might consider importing instead of waiting on Atlus for a year to release it in Europe.
Here's a look at the slip cover that will adorn the Persona 4 Ultimax Premium Newcomer Package, which comes with the story from the first game so you don't have to go out of your way to catch up (it will also be sold sep...
The best Persona 4 character already got trailered, but I guess Atlus still needs to finish up. This week it's Kanji and Naoto, both with voice actors that are throwing me for a loop. It feels like it should've happened...
When I came back to Persona 4 Arena with the intent of finally learning how to play a fighting game after abandoning it, I switched from Mitsuru to Chie. Because they are the best Persona characters. I lasted a bit longer, but my advancement was thwarted by Shadow Labrys (trailered below) and stupid fingers.
Show starts in 15 minutes.  Hey, it's live now. And that's not Teddy at all. It's Rise. Still cool.
I woke up at 4 in the morning, got on a plane, got to LA, and went straight to the press room with my luggage (too early for hotel check in) and then we started covering Microsoft's press conference. Watching this adorable Persona Q trailer was a nice breather. Don't forget to breathe.
I got so excited about Yu's Yul Brynner chest on the Persona 4 Ultimax box art that I almost missed new trailers for Yukiko and Yosuke. I never noticed this, but Yosuke's persona sort of looks like the frog navi the frog reporter uses in Mega Man Battle Network 2. Yeah, I like those games.
This is the official box art for the Japanese release of Persona 4 Ultimax. It's pretty great, even with the best characters (Mitsuru and Chie) getting teeny billing. That Yul Brynner chest pose though.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is out. In Japan. There is a lot of text to be translated before we get it this fall, as you can see for yourself. So the game opens with a decision. Great. Not paralyzing at all. To go the...
Is it just me or is Akihiko-senpai looking softer and handsomer? The first movie is getting an English (subtitled) release next week, May 20. Part 2, above, is coming to Japanese theaters on June 7. An English dub would be nice for those of us who experienced Persona 3 in English, but I guess pretty animation will have to suffice.
Hey, Slugger. Train dreams are a bitch, aren't they? "Everyday! Yoommmyommm!" Stupei and the rest of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax comes to North America this fall.
Persona 3 The Movie #1 Spring of Birth will manifest in English on May 20, Aniplex USA has revealed. In addition to a Blu-ray of the directors cut, a collectors edition featuring a soundtrack disc, art book, stickers, and ill...
And doesn't have a picture to show for it. Damn. I need to see this design. Atlus has confirmed a 3DS XL bundle (for Japan) for when Persona Q drops on June 5 (in Japan). In a typically nice Atlus move, first print copies of ...
Our Tumblr pal pepsimangb is at it again, doing the Lord's work. He has subtitled the newest full-length Persona Q trailer for your viewing pleasure. This new one focuses on the Persona 3 crew, though the P4 cast does show u...
While we were beary excited to bring you Teddie and Aigis' Persona Q trailers last week, we totally whiffed on Junpei and Yukari. We've got to show Persona 3 some love. I'm more excited for both of their entrances into Persona 4 Arena, but seeing Junpei get slapped and Yukari's cute little cherub bow (below) is nice.
Is Aigis not doing the stilted robotic voice because of where Persona Q falls in the timeline, or did the Japanese voice actor never do it? Because that was a bothersome element to Aigis' character for me. Not as annoying as...
Atlus and Aniplex have called forth the first footage of Persona 3 The Movie #2: Midsummer Knight's Dream, which is scheduled to premiere in theaters in early summer. The first film, Spring of Birth, released late ...
It's a good day when I can just sit and write several articles about Persona. The last bit of the lengthy interview with Katsura Hashino, following talk on Persona 5, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Persona 4: The Ultimax U...
I'm still not convinced I like the 3DS chibi Persona 3 and Persona 4 spin-off, Persona Q. Giving me more Mitsuru-senpai is a good way to convince me, though. It seems like all the characters will be getting videos as Atlus's YouTube drowns us in Persona Q videos. I could think of worse things to drown in. Like fire. Or pizza rolls. Or syrup. Most things, really.
Wow!  Now, don't get me wrong. I love Atlus' Persona 3 just the way it is and I wouldn't change a thing, but check out this posting from game director Katsura Hoshino from back in 2007. Its two videos show off a pr...
We're still far away from the release of Persona 3 and Persona 4 dungeon crawling mash-up Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, but it's never to early to start lusting. Just by looking at the first screenshots I knew this game...

The official website for the Persona 3 movie, Spring of Birth, has been updated. If you haven't seen it yet, it looks like a Sega Master System box. There's a new piece of art that looks f*ckin' awesome (see in our gall...
Persona 3 and Persona 4's television infomercial sales show, Tanaka's Amazing Commodities, was something I always hoped would become a real thing one day. Today is that day. Kind of. Atlus has some fun with jika-net.jp, ...
