So, Battlefield 4's Naval Strike DLC looks pretty great

It's been months and months since I last touched Battlefield 4, for a number of reasons -- some of them the fault of the game, some of them not. I'm thinking the impending Naval Strike DLC, showcased rather excellently in th...

DICE prioritizing Battlefield 4 netcode issues

In a blog post about the current state of Battlefield 4's multiplayer, DICE wrote that fixing netcode issues with the game is "one of the top priorities." I'd sure hope so -- few things are more irritating in competitive game...

Battlefield 4 PC patch puts an end to 'kill trading'

If you see "Battlefield 4" or "DICE," it's likely the word "patch" is about to follow. I don't see that changing anytime soon, unfortunately. The latest patch for the PC version of the game, out now, addresses an issue with t...

Which Console watches more Porn, BF4 Fixes & FFVIII Hair

Hey hey! This video was supposed to go up yesterday afternoon, but a series of unfortunate events resulted in it going up very late last night, and then internet witchcraft prevented me from putting up a post. So, if you don't mind a little reheated day-old news, here ya go. CUT ME SOME SLACK I'M DOING THIS ALL ON MY OWN.

We got an amazing exclusive scoop thanks to Pornhub, EA has told DICE to fix Battlefield 4 before making any new DLC, cops busted up a dude's World of Warcraft livestream after a phony tip, Riot Games' contracts with eSports iJocks apparently prevent them from streaming Fat Princess and Final Fantasy VIII is now on Steam.

Impressions: Battlefield 4 (Xbox One and PS4)

Battlefield 4, at launch, was a pretty hectic experience on the PC, but the same can't be said about the watered-down 360 and PS3 versions of the game. Simply put, the maps are built around the concept of huge 64 player battl...

Today's Battlefield 4 PS4 update addresses crashing

Can DICE fix crashes in Battlefield 4 across all versions of the game before its "We're sorry!" double XP event rolls out on Thursday? While I wish them the best of luck, it's difficult to be optimistic. The studio has put ou...

Players criticized Bad Company for not being serious

It was reassuring to hear that some people within DICE were interesting in working on Battlefield: Bad Company again. I quite like straight-faced Battlefield games -- their multiplayer, anyway -- but the Bad Company titles ha...

Battlefield 3 maps live on in this new BF4 DLC trailer

Review: Battlefield 4 photo
Review: Battlefield 4
by Jordan Devore

The most fun I've ever had in a Battlefield game was in 2010's Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

That's not to say it's the best title in the series or anything like that, mind you -- just that it arrived at the right time for me and offered a level of environmental destruction I found easy to fall in love with. If I'm allowed to blow open the side of a building and get the jump on an enemy, I'm going to do that. Over and over again. There doesn't even need to be an enemy.

Despite the fact that I'm not nearly as into military first-person shooters as I was even a couple of years ago -- repetitive sequels will do that to you -- Battlefield 4 has already, not even a full week after launch, surpassed my fondest memories of Bad Company 2.

This Battlefield 4 story trailer is too dangerous

What, you didn't think this trailer was going to be all pleasantries, did you? That wouldn't be very Battlefield-like. Well, there's that nice bit where the guy gently tosses an apple to a little girl. Apple-tossin' asi...
