In 2012, Cliff left Epic Games, his long-time employer where he made a name for himself with the Unreal Tournament and Gears of War series. More details on Bleszinski's next project are promised to be revealed in the next week, but his past comments suggest it may be a PC arena shooter.

Video: Ubisoft is now luring consumers into pre-orders with gambling

Ubisoft has launched a new tactic for netting pre-orders for Assassin's Creed: Unity in the form of a digital slot machine. Pre-order customers gain 5 free spins every Friday, and prizes include everything from in-game content to a trip to Paris. While participants pay no actual money to play, using gambling as a way to attract customers still feels a bit sleazy.

EA has garnered quite a reputation for being jerks over the past couple of years, with the rough launch of Battlefield 4 being one of the many reasons people are upset with them. CEO Andrew Wilson offered his apologies, sort of.

Video: Dragon Ball Xenoverse may be an adaptation of Dragon Ball Online
by Bill Zoeker

New details have been released about the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse game from Bandai Namco. We see more of the mysterious warrior with a mixed-up costume design, and a design for Future Trunks that looks identical to his design in Dragon Ball Online, a now defunct, Korea-only MMO. Could this mean that Xenoverse is a scaled down adaptation of Dragon Ball Online, possibly allowing similarly customizable characters with which players can travel the Dragon Ball timeline?

There's a hot drizzle of news leading up to E3, and Max is here to suck it down and spit it back at you! A sequel to Homefront is actually happening, for some reason. Ed Boon officiates the new MK as Mortal Kombat X (as in Ecks Vs. Sever). Sonic Boom isn't very impressive, surprising no one. Battlefield: Hardline had leak of beta footage. And many, many more stories, which Max will tell you if you watch this video instead of just reading about it.
