Farts 'N' Crafts: Watch Dogs Vs. Mortal Kombat Vs. Garfield photo
Farts 'N' Crafts: Watch Dogs Vs. Mortal Kombat Vs. Garfield
by Max Scoville

Here on Farts 'N' Crafts, we tackle a lot of hard-hitting issues. And by hard-hitting issues, I specifically mean "bodily fluids," which is almost ironic considering the show's title. We've done dog feces, we've gone hedgehog vomit. This week, we have dog urine, and copious amounts of cat blood. Specifically, Garfield The Cat blood. I like cats, but Garfield is horrible. Please just watch the video so I can stop typing.

Just Saiyan: The Dragon Ball Raging Blast Saga episode 2 photo
Just Saiyan: The Dragon Ball Raging Blast Saga episode 2
by Max Scoville

If you missed it last week, Bill and I started an all Dragon Ball let's-play/let's-bullshit-about series called Just Saiyan, since we spend most of our workdays arguing like twelve-year-olds about whether or not Vegeta is cool. There are several dozen Dragon Ball Z games, so Bill and I are going on a "Mystical Adventure" and taking a "Grand Tour" of as many of these titles as possible. First up is Dragon Ball: Raging Blast on Xbox 360.

Join us in the comments to discuss things so dorky we've been embarrassed to talk about them in public since high school.

Tuesday Newsday: Battlefield Hardline, The Order: 1886, The Evil Within, and LEGO Batman 3
by Max Scoville

Today on Tuesday Newsday, we go over two games that Brett Makedonski previewed, which have both been delayed, The Order: 1886 and The Evil Within. The new Battlefield is Hardline, seemingly a cops and robbers theme rather than the usual military approach. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has been announced, MapleStory 2 shows off its first gameplay, Star Wars: Attack Squadrons is cancelled, and Spintires is all about mud and dubstep, apparently. Video games.

There's been a whole bunch of interesting stuff to talk about in the last week! Halo 5: Guardians has been announced for 2015, Far Cry 4 is coming this fall, Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction has been rebranded as Bombshell, Tom Clancy's The Division is basically pulling a Watch Dogs and disappearing into development for another year or two, Playstation Now beta invites are going out to PS4 owners, and Twitch TV might be acquired by YouTube. Tuesday Newsday: Sunset Overdrive, Xbox One for $399, Pokémon, Snyder's Batman & H.R. Giger photo
Tuesday Newsday: Sunset Overdrive, Xbox One for $399, Pokémon, Snyder's Batman & H.R. Giger
by Max Scoville

It’s been quite a busy week of news, and here’s Max to shout moistly about it.

Gamers who are short a hundred bucks got some great news this morning with the announcement of an Xbox One sans Kinect, for a somewhat reasonable $399, coming June 9th. Sunset Overdrive has been revealed properly, and hot snacks, it looks like a good time. Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire are getting the 3DS treatment, Never Alone looks really lovely, and a new Unreal Tournament could be quite a lot of fun, especially for free. Dying Light and the console version of Elder Scrolls Online are being delayed. We get our first look at Zak Snyder’s Batman and Batmobile, and H.R. Giger has gone to that great big derelict spacecraft in the sky.

Farts 'N' Crafts: The Witcher 3 and warheads candy photo
Farts 'N' Crafts: The Witcher 3 and warheads candy
by Max Scoville

This week, I stop mucking around with condiments, pasta, and watercolors and just do a good old-fashioned drawing. The subject? Geralt of Rivia, The White Wolf, star of The Witcher books and games.

While drawing, I'm asked stupid questions by Bill Zoeker, who doesn't know anything about Witchers. Also, we eat very sour candies.

Put on your current events helmets, everyone, because Tuesday Newsday is here. Because it’d just be an Ephant Mon in the room if I didn’t address it, the Star Wars Episode VII cast has been revealed, following t...

Farts 'N' Crafts: a Lil' Gundam photo
Farts 'N' Crafts: a Lil' Gundam
by Max Scoville

Today for Farts 'N' Crafts, I got a little artsier than usual, and decided to "dabble" in watercolor to draw a fairly hot topic: a certain Japanese robot of the Gundam variety. Probably not my best, but watercolor, mecha, and talking at the same time are kind of tricky.

Video: Destiny wasn't everything Hamza was hoping for
by Max Scoville

If you missed it, Hamza went up to Bungie's offices to play Destiny, and he wrote a bunch of words and stuff about it. I didn't actually feel like reading his articles, so I demanded he describe his time with the game out loud, and I wanted to make him uncomfortable, so I filmed the whole ordeal.

Video: Watch Dogs' Jonathan Morin talks delays, multiplayer, and the franchise's future
by Max Scoville

After almost two years of wringing my sweaty little hands and looking at screenshots like a schlub, I finally got to take Watch Dogs for a spin last week. After hacking into steam pipes and blowing up cars for two hours, I took a moment to chat with the game's creative director Jonathan Morin.

Tuesday Newsday: Dragon Age III, Star Citizen, Fatal Frame & Nuka Cola
by Max Scoville

Here's your Tuesday Newsday for the last week or so! Today, we got a sexy new Dragon Age III: Inquisition trailer, some HD footage of Star Citizen out of PAX East, announcements of a new Fatal Frame on Wii-U as well as a bunch of Japanese games being localized. Sony, Microsoft, and ZeniMax have all been trademarking curious terms like "Eden Falls" "Screamride" "Killstrain" "Entwined" and "Nuka Cola."

Farts 'N' Crafts: Max Loves Boba Fett!
by Max Scoville

Sorry for the delay! Here's this week's episode of Farts 'N' Crafts, in which I draw something I've drawn rather compulsively since I was ten years old -- Boba Fett. Also, I show off some of the pictures you guys drew of Pokémon and Call of Duty

Tuesday Newsday: PAX East, Titanfall, Evolve, Below & a Sexy Werewolf
by Max Scoville

On today's hard-hitting debut episode of Tuesday Newsday, we cover some of the highlights from PAX East, like Cult of the Wind, where you run around pretending to be an airplane, or Rain World, where you're a big squishy slug-cat. Meanwhile Firaxis has announced Civilization: Beyond Earth, Titanfall reveals details on new DLC, and Evolve has a skill tree for its monster. Brett got to play Capy Games' Below, which sounds incredible, and The Behemoth is teasing their next game. Oh, and this wolfman is gettin' all randy.

In an effort to make myself relevant to teenagers everywhere, today's episode of Farts 'N' Crafts combines Pokémon and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Am I relevant now, teens? Hm?

Dumb Idiot Ideas: The Difficult Kinect Challenge photo
Dumb Idiot Ideas: The Difficult Kinect Challenge
by Max Scoville

This week, we filmed a wonderful short piece in which Bill and I discussed the lack of video games that let us play as actual animals. Unfortunately, Bill's microphone cut out mid-discussion, and the camera's face-tracking started focusing on an animated GIF of some dogs having sex I had up on my monitor behind me.

So, here's what we did instead.

DTOID News: The Super Smashed of Us, Pokémonopoly & Borderlands
by Max Scoville

Hey gang! Here I am again, shouting about the dang news. Super Smash Bros. and Borderlands are making big piles of headlines, and The Last of Us is getting an HD re-release, so I guess we haven't seen the last of it just quite yet. Pokémon and Zelda are getting Monopolized, and The Evil Within is spooky.
