Contest: Win a Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse! photo
Contest: Win a Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse!
by Mr Andy Dixon

Our friends at Logitech have hooked us up with an awesome set of PC gaming gear to give away to one lucky Dtoider! Up for grabs is the G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse, which features 11 programmable buttons, in-game DPI adjustment, and a dual-mode, hyper-fast scroll wheel. Oh, and it lights up really awesome blue. Because you'll no doubt need something to put your mouse on, they've also thrown in two different pads to try out: the G440 solid surface pad, and the G240 soft cloth pad. What a sweet bundle! (I'm using the G502 on a G440 myself and couldn't be happier!)

To enter, just leave a comment in this thread! Limit one entry per person, and you have until this Sunday, June 8 at 11:59pm Pacific to enter. Contest is open to anyone with a US shipping address.

Good luck! And don't forget, our Huge members get automatic entry into all contests (as well as a bunch of other awesome perks). Not bad for $3 a month!

What are your predictions for third parties at E3? photo
What are your predictions for third parties at E3?
by Mr Andy Dixon

All week long we'll be asking the Destructoid community for your predictions for each of the major press conferences going into E3 2014! Share your thoughts in the comments, and upvote your favorites! We'll be recapping these posts this weekend.

Not to be outdone by their console-making counterparts, the major third parties always seem to have something big in store for E3. Ubisoft has already confirmed that a pretty big list of games will be on display, and EA has announced that six new games will be revealed during their conference as well. (Also, my uncle works at Valve, and he told me that The Orange Box 2 will finally be revealed, and include Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3, and Portal 3. But not really. Because my uncle works at a paper mill. And also because Valve hates you.)

What about you? Do you foresee any big third-party reveals during E3? Any new franchises? Old favorites brought back from the dead? Or just more of the same? Share your predictions below! Or, if you feel yourself getting too long-winded, go write a community blog!

Have fun! And if you haven't made your Xbox predictions yet, click here! For Sony predictions, click here! Nintendo, right here!

Nintendo has a lot to prove this year at E3. Don't get me wrong: I love my Wii U. But even still, I rarely find a reason to turn it on these days. Nintendo's first-party titles have been just as stellar this generation as they were on the Wii, but they aren't coming at a quick enough clip to make up for the disappointingly dwindling third-party support as of late, which makes early adopters such as myself sigh the saddest of sighs at every new "Wii U version delayed" announcement we read.

Still, that could all be set right with the right support from the right parties right now... right? So how do you think they'll fair? What major reveals do you foresee? Any new franchises you think they'll announce? Old favorites brought back from the dead? Or just more of the same? Share your thoughts below! Or, if you feel yourself getting too long-winded, go write a community blog!

Sony has enjoyed the upper hand both in sales and in gamer faith so far this latest generation. Launching the PlayStation 4 at $100 less than its main competition (and free of forced motion-control gimmickry) coupled with a better-received launch and post-launch lineup have placed Sony back at the head of the pack this gen, a far cry from their launch debacle with the PlayStation 3. In addition, the Vita has steadily grown its own library over the last few years, and Sony's willingness to support cross-buying many games has earned it a lot of good faith with early-adopters.

Still, with the Xbox brand receiving a much-needed and significant facelift recently, Sony still has a lot to prove going into this year's E3. Tell us how you think they'll fair! What major reveals do you foresee? New franchises announced? Old favorites brought back from the dead? Or just more of the same? Share your thoughts below! Or, if you feel yourself getting too long-winded, go write a community blog!

Microsoft has been significantly stepping up its game in the run-up to E3. Ditching Kinect as a requirement for Xbox One (and the $100 price drop that came along with it), some fun new stuff related to Games with Gold, cool features added via system updates, a promising new franchise in Sunset Overdrive, and hints about the future of the Halo franchise have all served to pique my interest where there was almost none before. As someone still on the fence when it comes to whether the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will be earning my next-gen money, I'm excitedly looking forward to seeing what the Xbox brand has to show during their press conference next week.

What about you? What major reveals do you foresee? New franchises announced? Old favorites brought back from the dead? Or just more of the same? Share your thoughts below! Or, if you feel yourself getting too long-winded, go write a community blog!

Team Fortress 2sdays: Announcing Between 2Fort: Part Deux

Happy Tuesday! Cold William is out today, so you're unfortunately stuck with me. And speaking of being stuck with me, our own Shadow2398 has asked me to take part in the next episode of his TF2-themed interview show Between 2Fort, happening this weekend! So much me you can almost not shake a stick at it. But you will anyway. Because you're a sicko.

Contest: Win BattleBlock Theater on Steam!
by Mr Andy Dixon

Our friends at The Behemoth are celebrating the launch of their wonderful game BattleBlock Theater on Steam this week, and they're letting us help join in the fun by giving away ten copies of the game to lucky Dtoiders!

For a chance at a free copy, just answer one of the Behemoth-related trivia questions below! The first person to any given question correctly will be guaranteed a copy of the game, and after all questions have been answered the last five codes will be handed out at random (since I know you'll just copy and paste the right answers, you little devils).

You have until this Sunday at 11:59pm Pacific to enter, and the contest is open to anyone who can redeem a Steam key. Limit one entry per person, and again, you only need to answer one question! Those of you who get in first will need to pay attention to what's been answered already, because only the first person to answer any given question correctly will be guaranteed a copy. (The rest of your names will be thrown in a hat.) Confused? Good.
