INDESTRUCTIBLE! Street Fighter 4 streaming music, CD details photo

Go ahead. Sing it with me. You know you want to. "I can feel it coming over me, I feel it all around me..." And then there's the power chorus: "Indestructible! I wont let nobody take me down..." That's right. Sing that sh*t!

People either love or hate the opening song to Street Fighter 4, titled "The Next Door," from the Japanese pop group Exile. They went out of their way to sing it in English for you, even. I think maybe the original Japanese version of the song sounds a bit less cheesy, but I may be alone in that. Regardless, there's plenty of other great songs in the Street Fighter 4 soundtrack, and they're all streaming now on AOL Radio's Video Game Scores station, in rotation with plenty of other great game music.

As we told you before, Capcom soundtracks are coming by way of Sumthing Else Music. They remind us today that the two-disc soundtrack will go on sale next week, May 26th. Check out samples and order the CD here.

Just play the game for five minutes and you'll hear more than enough of this song.

MAKE IT STOP!

It's weak as hell that the soundtrack that came with the collectors edition is incomplete.. No Rufus theme? Or Dhalsim? What about Blanka? Nope, not on the collectors edition soundtrack. Then again, the soundtrack doesn't have that infernal 'indestructable' song on it either...

Since I try to play SFIV on a daily basis, I have gone through several phases of hatred for the Exile song. Allow me to explain:

Phase 1: First time playing, I am embarrassed that Capcom would use this song as the Street Fighter opening music. WTFBBQ is this a joke?

Phase 2: Oh my god, this is not a joke. It is on every main menu in the game. It restarts from the beginning every time. FUUUUUU...

Phase 3: Play my own music. Get tired of my own music.

Phase 4: I am numb from the hatred. I hate the song so much, I cannot even hear it anymore. It is a part of me, and I take it out on Zangief players.

You should have known what to expect from a Street Fighter song with lyrics. Capcom is the same company responsible for this.

There's only one thing to do. Embrace the awesomeness.

I actually like the SFIV intro song, and it's far far better in English where I at least understand the lyrics. :P

And you know you could just tune out the lyrics and listen to the beat which really isn't bad. I do that with most shitty Japanese songs I hear. :P

i don't care much about the sf theme song, but thanks for the radio link, it's a nice alternative for 8bitFM (except for the ads) and it haves anime radio. and the selection of music is awesome.

Capcom should make a patch to replace the intro song with the Super Street Fighter 2 intro song.

Erm, Scotty what are you on? I don't want any of what you're smoking.

That's why the Japanese soundtrack is better for everything SF related. The move names sound better, Sonic Boom, Shoryuken, Hadouken all sound better in Japanese. Oh plus Anime, Japan FTW.

I was watching some SF videos on Youtube with the American voices, cut scenes etc. and it is HORRIBLE. I've never heard the opening theme in English thank god, as it actually sounds good I think.

I'm in agreement with Los. SF4's soundtrack is garbage compared to the greatness before it. If the soundtracks hadn't been so great in the previous iterations, there would be no big deal that 4's is absolutely awful. The point being, how do you get better musically from 2, to the Alpha series (with Alpha's Playstation Redbook Arranged version being the best) to 3 (which is probably the best in the series) to....4? Indestructible? Fuck this bullshit. And it's at EVERY MENU. Hatred. Why Capcom, why!?

Don't by this crappy album. I'm listening to all the previewed tracks and not one is good. I don't think this album is good for anyone. Even before you get to the characters' stage music, it sounds awful. The familiar gems like Ryu's, Chun Li's, Cammy's and Ken's stage music have all been messed up and turned into a faster beat heavy disco-sounding grotesque version of it's former selves.

Street Fighter II HD Remix's soundtrack (which is even free) is much better. Don't waste your money on this.
