Improved stalker functionality coming to Xbox Live on Dec. 4 photo

As a part of the Xbox 360’s Fall Dashboard Update, the “Friends of Friends” feature is going to allow users to view the friends lists of other Xbox Live subscribers straight from their dashboard.

But if you’d like to remain shrouded in secrecy, there’s also the option to block your friends list from wandering eyes. If that sounds like something you’d like to do, go here to make the necessary adjustments.

It’s going to be pretty exciting to see what’s included in the full dashboard update come December 4. We already know about Xbox Originals, the family timer, and now the Friends of Friends.

What do you think Microsoft has in store for us?

I think this is the time where I'm glad I don't have any friends on Xbox Live.

I thought we were getting a clan update? Or was I misinformed?

That image is funny considering a guy on my friendslist's gamertag happens to have Papa at the beginning, and that he spends nights on Uno searching for boobage, although I'm guessing thats what most people use Uno for!

DivX support is coming, but I'm not sure if it'll be this update. I'm not fond of this friend update, though. I'm a very private person, so this is just obnoxious. I'm cancelling my Live account in the next week or two, and even still I felt the need to set it to "Blocked." It just offends me.

I'm wondering if MS are going to put more community based tools in this update, to make it more like Steam. So things like, the creation of groups and so forth.

They've got a long way to go before they match Steam.
