Rosa Farrel is the sexiest (superdeformed) woman to grace this site since Soul Calibur IV. I mean, we're talking about a girl who wears her lingerie on the outside for the world to see! In all seriousness, the character art looks stunning, and totally intimidating. I would give Cecil all of my lunch money, my dog, and do his homework until we graduated homework if he asked.
I'm really glad to see that Matrix is getting so much out of its engine, as this looks even better than Final Fantasy III. The characters' heads are still a little big, but, all in all, their bodies are a lot more proportional. And proportionality is awesome.
It sucks for you Final Fantasy IV Advance owners that the game is being released so soon after its GBA iteration, but I couldn't be more excited for this title. For, you see, in every gamer's life, there are classics that constantly beckon from the deep recesses of time. I've never read Moby Dick, never seen Gone With the Wind, or played Final Fantasy IV. For shame!
Anyway, the point is that this game looks sh*t hot in my books, and it can't come out soon enough.
Bonus: Someone on NeoGAF mentioned that there should be some kind of extras for having the Final Fantasy IV GBA cart in when you boot up the DS version. If you all had your druthers, what would it be?

The in-game pics look a bit weak though. :| But as I've never owned a DS or PSP, I don't really know what the standard is.
I'm willing to bet it will happen... considering FFIII and FFIV's remakes, i'd say that both FFV and FFVI are gonna be recieving similar treatment. and if they go in order than it will be all the better for FFVI since square will probably get better at making those 3D models (just as they got better between FFIII and FFIV).

Well the added benefit that FFIV gets from previous remakes is that the graphics got a complete make over; where as prvious remakes got a very simple srpite upgrade... it makes it a more attractive buy... though i would say that the previous remake coming out so soon ago might hurt it's sales somewhat...
Best system buy ever. I even got Final Fantasy III when it came out, though I have yet to finish it still. The fact that IV is getting remade... if it has the awesomeness that is a final party of Cecil, Rosa, Rydia, Palom, Porom, then, like the GBA version, it would be epic beyond all compare.
My wallet will belong to this release for sure.
