Ico art spotted on Media Molecule's website photo

Well, will you look at that. That sure does look like Ico and Princess Yorda in sackboy form, doesn't it? This picture was found on the Media Molecule website, but has since been removed, which points in the direction of seeing them in LittleBigPlanet in the near future. In fact, 1Up alluded to content like this a while ago:

Media Molecule raved about massive boss battles that require flipping 120 switches to defeat, and they once again hinted that other internal Sony developers (such as Killzone creators Guerrilla Games or Shadow of the Colossus director Fumito Ueda) might be designing their own unique LBP showpieces.

LBP Central had something to say about the art as well -- it seems they recieved it in an email from Media Molecule, so it is most definitely real. I haven't picked up LBP in a while, but this would definitely motivate me to do so again. What about you?

I'm guessing they announce the new team Ico game and Ico related stuff for LBP at the conference.

At first glance I thought it was a 2d PSP LBP. But this is still fapworthy.

Other than character models that look like characters from other games, would this add anything to LBP. Like, gameplay-wise? New moves, options, etc?

I don't own the game so I don't know, but if it adds nothing, I don't see whats the point in buying it. Its like those RPGs where they sell you a costume back that does nothing but change the character model. (This coming from a huge JRPG fan.)

I love the Team ICO stuff and this is a really cool spin on some of its characters. If this comes to LBP, I'm gonna flip!

Yeah, hope it would come with a new option for expanding gameplay as well.

Also hoping they do some inFamous DLC and add the ability to use electrical devices or something similar for puzzle solving, which would of course kill you if you fall into water while carrying it.

The MGS pack is almost enough to get me to want to try this game. If it ever got anything related to Team Ico anytime soon, I'm giving in to peer pressure.

SQUEEEE!!

Ok yeah, I think that's the first time I've ever written that in my life.

What's sadder is it's actually a transcript of what I said after reading this story.
