I would totally play a first-person Sonic the Hedgehog

7:30 AM on 07.29.2013

Many people who know me are aware that one of my favorite franchises of all time is Jumping Flash. There's something about the way those games handle first-person platforming that's just magical, and as an experience, it's pretty much pure bliss for me.

So when this first-person Sonic the Hedgehog video surfaced, I couldn't help but smile. The setup is simple -- it's a re-imagining of the classic Green Hill Zone: Act 1 in a first-person perspective. They even have the overlay of the 2D version in the bottom right corner to compare it to! I don't know about you guys, but I would totally buy this.
