Playing some of these games (Red Dead, Mass Effect 2, FalloutNV) simply because you're trying to break away from what the average gamer is playing is completely rediculous. Get over yourself, they're great games.

I think this is just a list of games people played while logged onto Live.
ME2, Reach, and Conviction are worthwhile. All others are meh.

I haven't played any of these, either....Oh, heh, I don't have XBL. :P While I CAN play a few games on this list, I don't have the desire to play any of them....well, except for Medal of Honor. Despite what everyone says, it still deserves my time.
None of these games really appeal to me either, I just don't understand how anyone can still get excited over a damn shooter. Lately I have just been replaying my favorites like chrono trigger and persona.

I have to say I kinda have to agree with your pre-emptive first post. You've missed some great titles (ME2, RDR, ACB, SCC). Give the west a chance.
I've played 11/20 (I rented Crackdown 2, played for an hour, then mailed it back to GameFly) and own an additional one I have yet to play (Fable 3). Two more are on my "intend to rent" list (AC and MoH). I never thought I was so mainstream in my gaming tastes.
That being said, there are some really well made games on that list, like RDR (Undead Nightmare is awesome thus far, it's what I'm currently playing) and ME2. You owe it to yourself to play those, however "mainstream" they may be.
I'm also surprised Hot Pursuit isn't on the list considering it sold 5 million copies and its Autolog feature (I would imagine) would make people want to login and see if they can beat their friends. Hmm... interesting.

About a quarter of those are really exceptional games, Dale. You should give some of them a go. But good job and bypassing Fable 3, that shit blows.
Only played Reach, which was pretty good. Also played Bad Company 2 on PC.

I've played 3 of those. The 3 most similar ones, Black Ops, Medal of Honor, and BF:BC2. I only purchased BF:BC2.
also, kind've surprised to see Conviction at 12. i enjoyed it, never been a big fan of the SC story, but the Arkham Asylum style action-stealth made it one of my favorite games of 2010.

I'll be honest. You can't really claim to be up to date with the modern gaming scene and play NONE of those. If you want to keep a good, accurate perspective and not just get swallowed into what you think you like, you have to give a broader range of games a chance. It's ludicrous that anyone who wants to be knowledgeable in the gaming world hasn't played any of those.
