And I have been through the ringer lately. Over what you might ask. Well, that would be something that I personally can't discuss. But... and this is a big one. I can in fact bring you news that any company has made public.
This week the good folks at the lovely gaming company Konami released a video. Now I know that all of you Matlocks are already saying, "Konami said it wasn't a new video, but the same thing with a few new effects." Well, don't worry, the world needs idiots too. There are things in the video that are very clearly different that for some reason, have not been getting a lot of press. Kotaku and Joystiq were among the plethora of sites that covered the new version of the video, but even they made no mention of one thing I noticed. [Kotaku did actually]

First off. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get this post up. I was a really tough choice to make, and I needed to think about it.
It is time for a contest. It is called "Spot the difference." The prize for getting a correct answer is an all you can eat buffet of common sense. I know you Matlock's are going to love this one.
Picture A is from the original old video:
Picture B is from the new and improved video:
Do you notice anything missing from the second one? If you need more proof, (and I know some of you Matlocks do) check out the video below. The part you want to see is about 90% of the way in.
Cannibal's video is a joke. I know the comments were going to boom calling him a Ron Workman fanboy (Which is a huge mistake to be one) and that some people may not get it. It is a Dtoid community thing. If you don't understand, then hang out more. The long credits are greatness that comes with the territory of Toidland.
i did notice that when i saw the video a few days ago. coincidence?

Seeing as it was released by Konami and wasn't meant to be used as a PS3 advertisement, what would be the point of putting a PS3 ad on it?
I'm an insider as well. I had tea with Kojima this morning. Turns out that it will be on the Wii as well. Too bad every current 360 will be extinct by the time this game is released.
JennyJenJen, tea this morning? It's around 5:47am in Japan right now. Or are you suggesting that Kojima is here in the US, possibly for E3, and that of all the things he did this morning he had tea with you? Then, after that exciting morning, you came to dtoid and signed up just to post to post that comment? If NPD numbers are any indication, I would say the PS3 is much more likely to be extinct before MGS4 comes out. As an informed insider, I'm sure you'd agree.
@ Jen, Tron - ALL Game ads have the system logos emblazoned upon them. What good is advertizing a game when you don't know what system it is? The answer is simple. They dropped the PS3 logo, because it's not just a PS3 title anymore, and Sony wouldn't permit them to put the Xbox logo on there until the one-year exclusivity deal finally rolls over.
