A bundle combining Final Fantasy XIII and its sequel leaked, right as we are anticipating the start of Square Enix's Lightning Saga New Developments Presentation in Japan.

This long-winded bundle name is classic Square Enix: Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Final Fantasy XIII/Final Fantasy XIII-2 Dual Pack Limited Edition. It will go on sale in Asia on September 13. The bundle includes Ultimate Hits edition of the first game and eight postcards. No word on a Western release but the games do include English voice acting options for those wanting to import. I really hope this isn't the reason for the event because ... man.

We'll be bringing live updates as the event happens. Here's hoping they can do better than this.

Review: Fantasy Life

One of the biggest gripes I hear from friends interested in but hesitant to play Japanese role-playing games is that they're too "complicated." It's a sentiment I've never understood; several take great pains to be accessible...more
