I got a bad feeling about Ride to Hell: Retribution

1:00 AM on 04.19.2013

Ride to Hell has risen from it's vaporware grave and is coming back with THREE different games, the main one being Retribution. It will be out this June for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $39.99 or $49.99 (Best Buy and Amazon are listing different prices), and all we really have to go on is the CG trailer, some screens, and this new trailer that was released yesterday.

We barely know ANYTHING about Retribution yet Deep Silver is already pushing pre-orders. What do you get if you throw down cash early? The day one downloadable content that consists of three new levels, an "exclusive" sniper rifle weapon, and another character players will be able to team up with. This "Cook's Mad Recipe" DLC will be available for $9.99 otherwise.

Getting nothing but red flag warnings with this one, folks. Announced just a couple of weeks ago, barely know what it's going to be all about, and it's out in the next two months. Yikes.

Review: Ride to Hell: Retribution

In my five years of reviewing games for Destructoid, only twice have I ever been flat-out informed by a publisher that review copies of a game were not being made available. Some companies may dance around the issue, others m...more

Enjoy Ride to Hell: Retribution's grindhouse cinematics

After the first few trailers for Ride to Hell: Retribution, I have to say I was not really impressed. I can dig the overall biker aesthetic, but the low resolution textures and flimsy character models make the game look like...more

Escape Escape Dead Island's time loop on November 18

Do you like piña coladas and getting caught in zombie-infested time loops? Are you not into yoga, but into land masses that are surrounded by water on all sides? Deep Silver took out a personal ad. It wants ...more

California is not an island, but here are my Dead Island 2 impressions

You'll be able to explore Los Angeles, Santa Monica, some beaches, a golf course, and maybe even more in the final version of Dead Island 2. But what Deep Silver was showing at gamescom 2014 was pretty limited. I only got to run around a small, closed-off section of the Los Angeles suburbs. It was a short taste of what the Southern California zombie-slaughtering life is like. more
