CDV have partnered up with Marc Ecko Enterprises to bring out I <3 Geeks, a Rube Goldberg style puzzle game for the Nintendo DS where you use every day objects and the laws of physics to complete puzzles. You'll be given a set of objects such as candles, conveyor belts, wood and more to place on the touch screen to complete a Rube Goldberg style puzzle. There will be over 100 puzzles with most puzzles having multiple ways of getting solved.
In the story mode, you'll help the geeks and use their smarts to get back at the bullying jocks to win the heart of the Cheerleaders. Totally sounds like an episode of Saved by the Bell to me. Anyway, the game will have two-player support and should be out later this year. Check out some of the screens below and the fact sheet after the jump.
Just like all the other DS games by CDV, expect I <3 Geeks! to drop later this year. I don't know about you, but every time I watch/play anything Rube Goldberg style, I think of the music from this episode of Family Guy, which you can check out above.

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

This reminds me A LOT of old The Incredible Machine (I think that's the title) games for PC and Macs. As long as we're not talking blatant rip-off, I'll be looking forward to playing this game!
@Blind Assassin A little off subject, but I'll play ball. It's not that we hate Canada, It's that we quite frankly find you very unassuming. Which is probably a good feature for a country to have, no country really has a problem with Canada. The US on the other hand...
@Pacopaco:
It seems like this is the closest we're getting to one. A blatant rip-off is better than nothing, although the fact that Mark-Ecko has any involvement in this makes me uneasy about it.
The video link is dead for anyone outside of the United States. That's why I brought it up. Even technically being a Canadian myself I probably have a level of anger at Canada that surpasses any hate held by average Americans. It's a nice place to live but to anyone with political knowledge and ambition it's an absolutely maddening place.
Danny Elfman's "The Breakfast Machine" is such an awesome and well-known cue from he and Tim Burton's first project together, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, which is my favourite movie.
Anyway, there's a great Goldberg-style puzzle at the end of Waiting... starring Ryan Reynolds and Justin Long. Opens beer and pours in into a pitcher, thus saving you from having to do it yourself. And it involves Dominos.
T'will be interesting to see what this game is all about.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Too bad it has such a stupid name though.
