Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 dated: Feb. 28 photo

It's a bit early in the morning for strange sh*t from Japan, but we wanted to let you know that Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 finally has a date in North America: February 28, 2012. Europe gets it even sooner, on the 24th. That means that you have a month until you can see young female personifications of game consoles working together to protect the world of Gamindustri. In this RPG sequel, the four main characters are younger sisters of the system girls from the first game.

There's a huge gallery of images in our gallery below from mk2. Among the images you'll find battles with digital carrots, shiny anime boobs, and the derpy face of one Mr. Inafune. Totally worth a look, if you ask me.

It comes out the same month as the Vita, a month after FF13-2, and the month before Tales of Graces F comes out. TOO MANY GAEMZ!!!

Wait, makise kurisu?? How did I miss that? Already preordered my limited edition from NIS and I'm in the UK!!
The first game was bad but not as bad as they say. I managed to finish it at least and I'm somewhat interested to see how this one turns out.

Ya know, conceptually, I would be all over these games. In practice, a part of me is apprehensive of even ordering them online. The character designs are just... ugh. DO NOT WANT!

Bought the first. Garbage. Sold it and bought a real game.
Amazing how they can market this trash and sell it.
Same crap as Trinity Universe and Cross Edge.
I feel sorry for the people who fall for this.

I hope they improved the combat mechanics. The first one had the potential to be fairly deep, but they got sloppy. It's like they didn't think about all the possibilities they could have had based on damage, AP, and hit % alone. Not even mentioning the post transformation possibilities.

Great news, thanks for the update, Dale! As much as I'm still feeling the post-Christmas pinch, I really don't want to miss out on this one! The first one was so... meta strange! Yet still charming! Well worth the price of the game mechanics, themselves.
