Hybrid removed from Xbox Live Arcade due to server issues
[Update: 5th Cell dropped us a line to let us know that the server problems have now been resolved and Hybrid will be available again on Xbox Live Arcade tonight stating that they, "expect a smooth gameplay experience from here on out."] If you were looking to play 5th Cell's new third-person shooter, Hybrid, hold your horses for a bit. The game has been pulled down from Xbox Live Arcade following server issues which have made the game unplayable for many users. Microsoft and 5th Cell have both made apologetic statements, saying that the game will be made available as soon as the servers are working the way they are supposed to be. No specifics have been given as to when that might be, but I imagine folks will be working non-stop until it's resolved. Always a bummer when multiplayer-based games have these problems at launch, particularly when it's a title from a smaller studio where the player support could evaporate if things take too long, leaving another dead game. Here's to hoping it gets sorted quickly. Hybrid pulled from Xbox Live Arcade [Joystiq] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Was really stoked to play this today. Hopefully it does do well, because like all online games on XBLA, they fall into obscurity and lose players like mad almost weeks after launch. I guess people can't be bothered from COD. @Propelledfoot

Kinda looks like a 3rd person halo with some mass effect thrown in.. might be fun.. I started my download of the game for my review last night (it wasn't even available for reviewers to d/l until midnight PST) and turned off my system and went to bed. Somehow, background download didn't work, and I just turned my system on to find I still have about 49% more to go....and now, no one to play with for my review... they fall into obscurity and lose players like mad almost weeks after launch. I guess people can't be bothered from COD. Car Games Online
