Hulu Plus for 3DS, Wii available by the end of the year photo

Later this year, Nintendo will be expanding the Wii and 3DS to include the other big entertainment streaming option, Hulu Plus. The service, which features "limited advertising," provides access to thousands of television shows and movies at a cost of $7.99 per month.

Sure, choice is always nice. I won't personally be partaking in this, especially not on 3DS -- I watched 20 seconds of a Twilight Zone episode via Netflix once and never used the app again. Someone, somewhere, will likely benefit from this news. Just not me. (Also, what the eff, Ryan Gosling was Young Hercules?)

So Hulu Plus is like Hulu with more shows available?

I can't really justify paying $8 a month for that.

@Master
Because a busty, 16 year old Warrior Princess in training is something Japan should take care of...

You know what this means, people! Free Club Nintendo coins for downloading the Hulu apps! Just like with Netflix, right? Awwwww yeah.

Used to have Hulu plus. Lasted about 1 month. Didn't enjoy having ads while paying $8 a month.

Young Hercules remains the only piece of media I have ever seen Ryan Gosling in. Thanks, Fox Kids!

Ares was the one character that never changed. He was played by the same actor in Young Hercules, Hercules, and Xena.

@Einlander

Well, he is a God. He's been around looking the same for thousands of years. The shows were smart enough to address that.

@Article

I don't know, my girl watches movies on Netflix on hers all the time while I'm playing something on the 360 and taking up the TV, since she's given up on MMOs. I'd probably use it more too if I ever picked up my 3DS at all (or had the time to) :/

Funny enough, at least for us, Netflix seems to work better on the 3DS then it does over XBL. Hulu actually works much better then Netflix on XBL and I'm interested to see if it works even better on the 3DS.

Either way, Hulu is mostly TV shows. A half hour at a time using the 3DS to watch those has to be more appealing then sitting and watching a 2hr movie.
