Don't take that headline as a negative -- Capybara and Superbrothers' iPhone title Sword & Sworcery EP is one of the most interesting games I've seen for the platform in some time. In other words, summing it up in a brief sentence is difficult and, more importantly, wouldn't do it any justice.
Up until now, we only had a quick teaser video for the game. Thanks to GDC last week, that's changed for the better. Two videos have surfaced, each showing a different "mode" of sorts. When holding your iPhone horizontally, you calmly walk through a beautiful pixel-filled world, interacting with scenery as you go.
In the vertical mode, which is shown in a second video after the break, you fight enemies by tapping the screen. Enemies that may or may not have an adorable two-pixel-long dong. I'm already a fan of this project. Make sure to look out for Nick's thoughts on the game tomorrow -- he actually played it!
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

This is the first I've heard of this and having been the first I've heard about this game - I have absolutely no idea whats happening. But I can say this - This game just fucking oozes style. The game is absolutely beautiful for a completely 2-d pixel filled world with a minimalistic take and the music is AMAZING. I really wish I had an iPhone now.
This looks seriously interesting and, even though there is probably no reason for it, just screams, "CAVE STORRRYYY!!!!" to me.
Also, I'm assuming that you play as Chris Hansen, who has traveled back into the age of swords and sorcery, to do one thing and one thing only - kill Pedobear.
Awesome...! Actually, that sounds like a great idea for a game.
Superbrother's pixel work is absolutely unlike anything else out there. I played through the demo at GDC this year, and the atmosphere in this game is incredible. I never wanted it to end. I can't wait for this to come out.

Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
